Cement Quality Engineer/Lab Supervisor
- Ensure a safe workplace is maintained, based on company policies and MSHA guidelines.
- Coordinate and perform water testing for both fresh and process water.
- Perform routing analytical work to include coal BTU's and proximate, chlorine testing, insoluble residues, colorimeter analysis and the microscopic examination of clinker.
- Maintain laboratory computers; to include hardware, networking and software. Be the first line of action when computer related challenges arise.

JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the District Service Line Manager-USA Cementing, the Field Pump Operator is responsible for driving, operating, and maintaining cementing services equipment. The Operator 2-Cementing will also be responsible for assembling and preparing equipment for installation and service, performing pre-and post equipment inspections and maintenance, assist in monitoring well controls, and contributing to safe rigging operations during and after service delivery.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for driving and operating heavy trucks and equipment
Performs rigging in / out duties for Cementing Services equipment; contributes to safe rigging operations during and after service delivery
Lifts, carries, moves and assembles iron pipes and equipment to / from trucks and well site
Reviews and completes pump logs, chemical tallies, and maintenance checklists
Monitors control panels to gauge pressure, flow, revolutions per minute (RPMs), and other diagnostic information of equipment (i.e. transmission lock-ups, rig savers, etc)
Participates in and monitor execution of job/service: control operation of equipment or systems by using control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate equipment or processes.
With guidance from Supervisors, adjusts increase / decrease fluid pressure and flow as required.
Assists Supervisor with calculating and mixing chemicals.
Acts as a mentor to Operator-in-Training/Operator 1 level employees. Assists in training and provides guidance on safe and effective operating procedures.
Maintains truck and equipment to standards, and ensures all equipment, including personal protective equipment, is in proper working order.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water pre-and post-trip
Conducts maintenance and inspection of Blowout Preventer (BOP), injection head, power-pack (hydraulics), stripper, wellhead connections, etc.
Completes quarterly maintenance inspections, 200 & 400 hour inspections and services on trucks and equipment.
Troubleshoots any problems with equipment and ensures damaged or defective parts get repaired.
Completes required paperwork and submits it to the appropriate parties accurately and on time (i.e. Critical Well Checklist, fuel log report, timesheets and log books, maintenance reports, month-end expense reports, trip permits, etc).
Promotes Safety Standards always: shop, yard, location and while traveling.
Reports all hazards or potentially hazardous situations, accidents, incidents and injuries immediately to supervisor.
Attends weekly Safety Meetings.
All other duties assigned
Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
Ability to work on call 24/7.
Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and overnight travel.
High School Diploma or equivalent

Production Support Team I- Alpena Cement
This position reports directly to the Yard Supervisor. All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Primary responsibilities of this position are to become familiar with the layout of the plant and proficient in the use of equipment that will maintain the cleanliness of the plant grounds, assist in maintenance and delivery of materials. Maintenance of plant roads, sidewalks, rail tracks and switches, emptying of oil drums and operation of oil-water separator.
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
Learning to operate several pieces of equipment including; skid loaders, forklifts, fast-vac truck, teleforker, and sweeper.
Pick up and deliver oil drums within the plant.
Maintains plant grounds through the use of sweepers and fast-vacs.
Responsible for emptying oil drums and the operation of oil-water separator.
Repairs, replaces, and cleans rail track and tie switches.
Responsible for snow removal from sidewalks and salting of roads.

Builds Dies – Work layout, machine and grind and fit
details – thorough knowledge of tooling, machining processes, and die functions
– distractions and interruptions to other jobs. Sharpens and repairs dies in tool room – Disassembles dies, inspects, welds, repairs, grinds, detail, fits detail into dies – same
skill requirements as above, same distractions, and interruptions plus
frustrations of machine shortage at times. Maintains dies in the Press Room – Analyzes die problems, troubleshoots problems, repairs damaged details, sharpens, aligns, times dies – same skills as above plus knowledge and experience with presses,
feed mechanisms, releases, timing, and die set-up. Distractions, noise, working in confined and dangerous quarters, oil, and compounds.
Required knowledge of steels, stresses, and material. Have the ability to mentally picture position and shape

Plan and construct a wide variety of tools, dies, fixtures and gauges to very close tolerances, or construct more complex units where design is available.
Perform development work, layout and difficult tool room machine operations, fitting, timing and adjusting, e.g. combination dies for parts or irregular contour, box type drill jigs with difficult locating or nesting features, ordinary index milling fixtures.
Dismantles and repairs or replaces parts of damaged dies and fixtures, fits and assembles parts, and tests repaired dies for proper operation.
Operates cranes safely to remove and/or relocate dies to specific work stations/equipment.
Establishes and maintains an effective preventative maintenance program. Ensures all tools are properly fit for use.
Prepares sketches for machining of tool details.
Performs basic layout inspections of both tooling and manufactured components in press.
