Machine Operator III
This position performs manufacturing and inspections functions during production. A key part of this position will be meeting established safety practices, quality standards and production rates. This position is also required to operate a fork lift to assist in product movement.
The Machine Operator III will have achieved the competencies as described in Skill Block Level 3, and will be expected to consistently demonstrate that level of proficiency.
Reports to: Shift Supervisor
Supervises: Provides work leadership to 1-4 Temporary workers as needed
Interacts with: Shift Supervisor, Plant Manager
Maintain knowledge of product quality plans; check for flaws, blemishes, discoloration, burn marks and warping.
Assemble product in accordance with quality plan; assemble feet, cor-plugs and card holders as needed.
Emboss product when required; ensure a quality embossing stamp.
Perform inspection of each part to quality plan requirements.
Notify supervisor of any suspect quality issues.
Transport product into inventory in a safe manner; [using Forklift machine].
Stack and package product in accordance with quality plan and supervisors instructions.
Provide on the job training to new employees and temporary employees when requested by supervisor.
Assist in routine preventive maintenance on mold and machines.
Assist in lubing molds.
Assist in clean up of manufacturing areas.
Provide input to improve processes and procedures.
Maintain safe workplace and ensure that safety policies are followed.
Report safety concerns and hazards to your supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the execution of CNC Machine Tool Operations. The setups of fixtures, jigs, spoil boards, and tooling to perform the machining operations.
This includes making complex cuts using the specified tooling and materials as directed by management and the applications programmer. This position will be on our night shift crew.
Machine Operator III - 2Nd Shift (Upads)
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The machine operator's primary function is to keep the Underpad machine running to produce incontinent care products that are manufactured to specification in the safest and most efficient manner possible.
Must observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed. Will be responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions. Must utilize the SCORE program and actively participate in safety meetings.
Must understand and comply with all current plant policies and procedures.
Will order all material necessary to manufacture and package the appropriate product
Will load and change raw materials
Will troubleshoot and maintain the machine
Must maintain the proper levels of hotmelt, polymer and fragrance as applicable to the machine.
Will clean the machine and the immediate area as well as keep equipment and materials neat and orderly and in their proper place

Receives work order and verifies that the components are correct
Receives material and loads on bar feeder; adjusts bar feeder for proper size of material and performs a dry run without material; verifies material against work order for correct lot number
Performs first PC inspection when set-up is completed
