Description The Centrifuge Specialist will focus on creating a team environment for the Centrifuge sales team. They will use their knowledge of the centrifuge product line to achieve a wider penetration in new and existing accounts’ by working closely with account managers and marketing team to implement strategic sales plans to meet sales quotas.
Responsible for success and growth of the centrifuge business. The responsibilities include assisting the sales team as needed with tasks such as managing the leads, contacting customers, positioning the product, quoting and successfully closing the sale.
Provide expertise for centrifuge by providing technical & application support to customers and sales team. Travel with the reps to advance key opportunities by positioning products as a competitive and preferred solution. The work also involve training centrifuge reps, conducting WebEx and on site seminars and Lunch & Learns on centrifuge products and applications
Work closely with centrifuge BU to make sure that we provide a good solutions. Make BU aware of competitive threats.
Stay current on competitive offerings including price, features & benefits, etc. Effectively communicate this information with the centrifuge sales team. Support the sales team by traveling with them in the field to customer sites and assist with demos and Lunch and Learns as needed
Provide training to the field as needed – instruments, applications, competitive information.
Work with reps and managers on pricing strategy for opps as needed to ensure we win
Train new centrifuge sales reps by working with them in the field
