Supply Chain Materials Planner | National Grid Supply Chain
About the Position:
The Supply Chain Materials Planner will provide analytical support functions to ensure that inventory materials are planned, ordered, received, maintained, and controlled in compliance with appropriate Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and other Corporate Standards. The Supply Chain Materials Planner will perform all necessary reporting and data management for inventory materials. Senior Manager, Change Management - Global Supply Chain
Edwards Global Supply Chain is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Organizational Effectiveness team. Our Organizational Effectiveness team is a tight knit internal consulting team responsible for running multiple concurrent projects across Edwards. Conduct organizational assessments and needs assessments, develop recommendations, and implement solutions that drive improved employee productivity.
Lead organizational design efforts at the Business Unit, Region, site and function levels.
Lead talent-related side of acquisition integrations.
Experience / Education / Special
8 years of consulting experience required.
BA required; MS or MBA preferred.
Extensive program / project management skills required; strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills required.
Strong business acumen required – understanding of the business as the foundation for driving productivity through people.
Strong experience using and developing Organizational Effectiveness tools and methodologies, including; change management approaches, team alignment processes, organizational assessment methodologies, communications strategies and tactics, and team and personal work profile assessments.
Experience managing complex organizations with multiple stakeholders, as well as approaches to demonstrate ROI and value propositions.
Process improvement methodology experience.
Mergers and acquisitions experience a plus.
Travel Expectation – 40% (predominantly international).
Supply Chain Manager - Appalachia
Manages all Supply Chain activity within that Appalachia Division, including people management responsibility for individuals engaged in SCM activity, coordinating daily staff work. Accountable for identifying and developing SCM processes and guidelines for the Division. Has approval authority for large volume spends, up to $500,000. Assists with the career development plan formulation for staff. May have additional Supply Chain responsibility based on Division business needs.
Directs the SCM staff within the division along with development and mentoring of employees
Oversees the day to day activities of SCM personnel in assigned division.
Oversees the preparation of quarterly and specifically requested reports for upper management for review by the Director of Supply Chain.
Frequently represents the company at industry functions
Use extensive knowledge of Oil and Gas industry focusing on drilling, completion and production services and equipment -- to identify and purchase required commodities and services.
Directs source selection, qualification, contract negotiations, and analysis of assigned commodities, inventories and special projects.
Accountable for divisional vendor compliance as set within the Purchasing Guidelines and Practices using the quarterly report card
Ensures that the Purchasing Guidelines and Practices are being followed within the division through internal SCM auditing processes
Develop purchase orders and work orders following purchasing policies and procedures for commitments of up to $500,000. Reviews and approves expenditures for assigned Supply Chain staff, as needed.
Analyzes and identifies future budgetary requirements and manages department budgets to adhere to all limits.
Evaluates industry trends for services and reports to division management.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's in Business, Organization Management, Supply Chain, or Finance.
Minimum Experience: 10 years of related & relevant experience, which must include 3 years of Supervisory Experience. In absence of a Supervisor position in the career ladder, the experience can be indirect supervision in a "team lead" capacity
