Work from manufacturing orders, verbal or written instructions to demonstrate proficiency in a variety of off bearer type operations. One may offbear moulded products, chop moulded materials, sort and stack product, wrap and band product, Measure product, and label all according to customer specifications.
You may use semi or fully automated machines as well as manual operations. You will utilize basic setup of saws, sanders and inker, charts, understand quality procedures and specifications, make simple machine adjustments and changeovers, requisition stock, clean fixtures, position parts, actuate, clear jams, inspect parts, monitor machine, clean and lubricate, dispose of scrap, keep simple records, notify supervisor or lead hand of unusual conditions, machine malfunctions or injuries.
Maintain equipment and work area in neat, orderly condition in accordance with standard work and 5S criteria.
Use of basic machines and hand tools such as saws, sanders, inkers, nail/staple guns, hammers, screwdrivers etc.
Use decimal tape measure, calipers, micrometers, comparators gages, fixtures and other quality equipment to maintain control of your process. Will perform and document all quality checks as required and must understand the importance and significance of each.
Must work overtime on short notice as required.

Green Chain Offbearer
The Green Chain Offbearer pulls green (wet) veneer off a moving conveyor and stacks it into carts. Employee may rotate to different positions around the green chain or related functions. The Offbearer must keep pace with the conveyor and neatly stack veneer in the proper carts, using good safety practices such as proper pulling techniques.
Must be able to follow written and verbal job instructions and exchange constructive feedback in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced fork lift traffic, machine noise, and a work environment that will vary depending on the time of the year. Production or labor experience helpful, but we will train motivated individuals.

Monitor performance and Identify excess capacity in order to provide recommendations resulting from unexpected sales growth or other risks that could adversely impact supply. Include statement about analysis of total network and capacity opportunities.
Ensure that manufacturing standard costs are set and aligned to contractual commitments.
Make recommendations to influence manufacturing strategies or transitions of existing products.
Seek to optimize production in an effort to drive out costs and improve quality.
Business Requirements - Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Supplier Scorecards and KPI's to facilitate continuous improvement in the areas of Production, Fulfillment, Quality, Cost of Goods, Inventory Management, Waste, and other metrics.
Ensure that contract manufacturing agreements are in place, and suppliers are in compliance with terms and conditions.

Sr Technical Architect (Supply Chain/Demand Planning)
This senior technical role within JDA's Professional Services team will have a focus on the Supply Chain Planning & Optimization Platform. The Sr Technical Architect participates in all aspects of the technical deliverables within a program/project to architect software solutions that meet the customer's business requirements and generate maximum value for customers. This individual may work on multiple programs/projects simultaneously within one or more industry verticals, and/or may work on multiple applications. The Sr Technical Architect provides direction to the on-site team on the technical design and definition and execution of related business process workflows that accompany the solution. This is a virtual role with 75% travel required.
