Excellent Customer Service
Provide outstanding customer service; recommend storage solutions and assist them with their storage needs
Welcome customers and make their move-in a positive experience through friendly interaction and knowledgeable guidance
Take pride in the appearance of your property; maintain a clean and debris-free location for a great customer experience
Consult and sell Public Storage packing and moving supplies
Work independently or with other team members at multiple locations
Days will consist of a mix of customer service and property upkeep
Make customer calls regarding their account, collections and other items; document notes on the computer system
Conduct daily physical storage unit inspection; confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are secure and/or ready to rent
Manage, audit, balance cash drawer; prepare and make daily deposits
Perform cleaning and maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, picking up trash and wiping windows to ensure a great customer experience
Partner with District Managers and other team members to exceed company goals and expectations
Hourly rate of $10.50

The Manager of Engineering and Construction provides leadership and coordinates activities of petroleum gathering, transportation, and storage engineering, technical services, and project management involving planning, interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating engineering assignments and construction and maintenance activities. Supports the safe, reliable and efficient operation and construction of API 650 Tanks, marine facilities, pipelines and pump stations. Establishes functional policy and interprets, implements and administers company policies and procedures as delegated by management. Ensures the plans and performance of the various functions within the organization meet or exceed management expectations.
Performs hydraulic studies and efficiency evaluations and develops recommendations for upgrading, optimizing, and improving the company's pipeline systems. Plans, coordinates, supervises, and documents company hydrostatic testing, in-line inspection, and integrity assessment program.
Gathers and interprets all government and industry regulations and standards, investigates applicability, supports company regulatory compliance, coordinates with regulatory personnel, and maintains current and complete documentation file for engineering projects.
Develops and evaluates the current condition, potential, value, and operational cost of equipment and facilities associated with proposed acquisitions and evaluates the cost of incorporation into existing company assets.
Reviews organization, staffing, training, and development plans to ensure that they are consistent and adequate for attainment of the division goals. Administers salary, wage and employee relations policy programs.
Performs other duties as required, which may include assignment in job classification other than the primary assignment.
Requirements• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or other appropriate discipline from an accredited four-year college or university and ten (10) or more years related experience in the energy industry. PE license a plus.
Requires three (3) or more years of the required experience in supervision.
Strong project estimating knowledge.
Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations including Coast guard, PHMSA and Texas RRC.
Knowledge of industry standards including ASME B31.3, B31.4, API Standards and Recommended Practices for marine facilities, pipeline and tank farm facilities.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language at a college level, perform mathematical calculations required for the position, and learn to interpret and comprehend company policies, procedures, safety instructions, and other like documents used in an energy industry environment.
Strong organizational, planning, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent use of standard software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and be insurable under the Company's policy based on driver's MVR criteria.
Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
LEVEL OF MANAGEMENT OVERSIGHT AND CONTROL:
Internal - Assignments are received in task and objective oriented terms. Provides direction to subordinates based on general policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed on completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
External – Regular contact with regulatory personnel; work with internal/external auditors to gather data, answer questions and resolve audit issues. Represents the company in the most positive manner with prospective, former and current customers, suppliers, regulators, competitors, and the communities in which our facilities are located.
Supervision of Others – Supervises engineers, drafting technicians, construction managers, project cost analysts.
MANAGEMENT REORTING LEVEL AND IMPACT OF DECISIONS:
Ensures projects are completed to quality, schedule and cost requirements and specifications. Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to complete assignments would normally result in serious delays to assigned projects and result in an increased expenditure of company resources.
The function of engineering management is an operational element of the company. This position is responsible for projects ranging from $10,000 up to and including $250,000,000
Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of a normal office environment. No environmental hazards are encountered in performance of normal job duties.
Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at moderate skill level. Work may require occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying 20-pound objects such as files, documents, and computer printouts. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve standing and walking for brief periods.
