Work in a storage yard removing outer hood (covering) from pallets before loading shipping containers. Ensure and maintain a clean work environment by routinely sweeping and removing plastic pellets off of the packaging warehouse floor. Specific responsibilities include:
- Responsible for handling finished product.
- Removes outer hood of stacks just before loading from storage locations to loading islands.
- Verifies lot numbers and pallet counts before loads or stacks go into containers and trailers.
- Performs quality control activities.
- Performs scrap and exception handling.
- Performs repair of broken stacks.
- Bin verification/ bin audits.
- Ensures clean work space and performs housekeeping activities.
- Responsible for identifying and eliminating potential slip hazards within the facility by sweeping plastic pellets.
- Conduct periodic checks of forklift as per the checklist provided.
- Collects empty liners for recycling.
- Prepares containers with inner liners.
- Supports pallet recovery and repair.
- Supports maintenance work.
Must have the ability to speak, write, read, hear and have good vision. Must be able to work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold. The physical requirements for a material handler include the following: Lift 60 pounds floor to waist, push and pull 30 pounds horizontally, carry 20 pounds while walking, climb stairs, stand 8-12 hours per day, climb ladders, extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
Driver's license required; 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.; stable work history with good references from past employers; pass a drug screen, physical, and background check; and speak fluent English.

Cylinder Preparation Technicians must be aware of the cylinder and valve inspection process to ensure that gases are disposed on and stored according to federal, state, local, and company requirements.
Specific duties include: • Following strict work procedures to ensure proper cylinder preparation. • Final preparation of cylinders to meet Airgas semiconductor cylinder appearance program. • Moving compressed gas cylinders into and out of the prep area. • Loading compressed gas cylinders onto and off of cylinder pallets. • Maintaining equipment in the prep area. • Consolidation of residual refrigerant gases by means of cold cylinder and cold coil transfer. • Job activities may occur indoors or outdoors exposing Cylinder Preparation Technicians to inclement weather. • Support Management team with regard to maintenance of Health and Safety and ISO Quality programs. Material Specialist / Preparation
The Material Specialist works in the Material Department and reports to the Schedule Manager. The primary responsibilities of the Material Specialist are:
Receiving material from suppliers
Adding material received to the JobBOSS material inventory
Pulling material from inventory as necessary to fill job requirements and preparing that material for use in the shop.
Maintaining an accurate material inventory through accurate additions and removals of material
Performing material audits as required
The Material Specialist must be able to accurately and safely operate a forklift and shop equipment including table saw, chop saw, horizontal saw, panel saw, and other equipment located in the material preparation area. Precision cutting of material will be required and the Material Specialist must be able to prepare material with a tolerance of 1/16th of an inch and a tolerance as to angles of plus or minus 2 degrees. The Material Specialist must be knowledgeable as to material QC requirements including documentation and QC checks of material prepared.
The Material Specialist will receive material from suppliers, inspect the material to determine if it is conforming and if conforming, accept the material and place it into inventory. If the delivered material is rejected the Material Specialist is responsible for labeling and segregating the non-conforming material and insuring that it is returned to the supplier.
The Material Specialist is responsible for the handling and the storage of material. The Material Specialist must be:
1. Aware of material handling procedures, particularly the handling of surface critical materials;
2. Aware of material storage requirements such as the effects of exposure of material to light, temperatures etc.;
3. Aware of proper material storage practices to avoid handling and storage damage to material;
4. Able to properly remove and add material to the material inventory, including the handling of drop materials;
4. Able to do "hard count" inventories or audits as required;
5. Able to safely and efficiently operate material preparation equipment such as horizontal saw, panel saw, table saw, chop saw etc AND at the same time produce material blanks curt within tolerance to the proper dimensions;
6. Able to comply fully with the material preparation QC program and forms.
The Finishing Specialist needs to have:
1. A working knowledge of the various materials used by NAM and how they must be handled, stored and prepared for production;
2. Manual dexterity and ability to use material preparation equipment safely and with the ability to produce material blanks within tolerance and to the proper dimensions without damaging the material.
3. Ability to use measuring tools;
4. Mathematic knowledge and ability to determine cutting lines, part sizes, number of parts per sheet, rod etc.
5. A working knowledge of prints to the extent necessary to determine if material blanks are being properly prepared;
6. A NAM certification as a fork lift operator.
