Clinical Director (Charleston)
Crossroads Treatment Center in Charleston, SC has an opening for a career minded individual for Clinical Director. This person would be responsible for the on-going and day-to-day clinical aspects of treatment for those patients admitted to our program.
Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee all Patient Screening, Assessment, and Admission services.
- Ensure that all individual treatment plans are compliant.
- Ensure that all Discharge and Aftercare Plans are compliant.
- Work with medical staff to ensure a safe but effective dosing regimen for all patients.
- Ensure compliance regarding all take-home medication.
- Ensure charting/documentation compliance.
- Ensure that all clinical staff are compliant in regards to training and supervision.
- Ensures the proper and timely collection of all UDS screens.
- Establishes, maintains and oversees a clinical treatment team and its operation.
- Establishes, maintains and oversees a clinical Quality Assurance team; this team also address Quality Improvement issues.
- Addresses/oversees the clinical aspect of CARF requirements.
- Monitors and addresses, where needed, the day to day clinical aspects/needs of the program.
- Addresses/oversees Patient Rights, Responsibilities, and Complaints.
- Ensures compliance in regards to reports to the Office of Regulatory Services
Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling, licensure as a substance abuse counselor (CAC I or CAC II preferred).
Position requires constant mental alertness, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy required in completing all assignments. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and follow –through on all assignments.
If recovering, three years of continuous verifiable abstinence is required.Preferred
Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment, communicate efficiently and effectively.
Proficient knowledge in DSM-5, treatment planning, substance abuse assessments, and referrals.

You will properly set tools in machine locations required forset-up
You will perform part changeover including program retrieval andinput
