Chauffeur / Shuttle Bus Driver W/ CDL
The Chauffeur operates vehicles as assigned with focus on the driving of VIP guests to their desired locations.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Operates limousine or other vehicles as necessary for the assigned trip day and/or nighttime hours.
Maintains assigned vehicle, i.e. washes, vacuums, stocks, etc., in order to keep the vehicle in top condition at all times.
Recommends servicing of the vehicle as necessary.
Performs messenger services for the property, as needed, giving first priority to the VIP guest.
Initiates and completes proper forms and required reports.
Makes overnight or extended trips as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid "B" or "C" (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement driver's license
6 months experience as a professional driver preferred.
Literate and fluent in basic English
Operates vehicles with a variety of controls and transmissions in a safe efficient manner.
Maintains excellent guest service
Must present a professional appearance

To schedule and maintain calendar for all appointments

Driving in a safe and orderly fashion, while maintaining a neat and orderly bus
Utilizing the phone while the bus is in operation is considered a safety violation and will be prohibited

Checking fuel, oil, tire pressure. Keeping fuel levels full
Maintaining and submitting an accurate and complete report of all problems noted
- Inspecting, reporting, and recording conditions which relate to the bus and usage
Working in community and develop a line of communication between nursing, activities and admissions.
Attending job training and in-service sessions as directed for the continuing improvement in customer service and job performance.
Cleaning and sanitizing of the vehicle
Performing those duties which protect the health and safety of Residents and staff.
The Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital is seeking a full time Chauffeur to operate and maintain motor vehicles for the transporting of persons or materials. Additional detailed duties include:
Provide transportation for patients to appointments and other community activities.
Operate a light motor vehicle, such as a station wagon, passenger automobile, pickup truck, panel delivery truck or small passenger bus for the transportation of persons or materials
Check and clean vehicles on a regular basis.
Makes minor road and garage repairs such as changing tires, spark plugs and oil.
Maintains records such as mileage, gas distinctions and repairs.
Assists with shoveling and other duties.
Locates addresses from GPS or written directions.
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Days off are Saturday and Sunday.
Bilingual or multilingual fluency. Candidates must be able to read, write and otherwise communicate in English. ASL preferred.
