Cheesemakers help lead the daily cheese making process and ensure we are making safe, tasty cheese.
In this role, you will also assist with milk receiving and pasteurization as needed.
We work in compliance with food safety policies and local and federal regulations, and this position is an important part of that.
The position is dynamic and requires physical work.
Primary Creamery Duties: •Daily cheesemaking tasks using our recipes and established guidelines •Receiving and pasteurizing milk in accordance with state and federal regulations •Working in our cheese aging rooms turning and caring for cheese •Preparing finished cheese for distribution •Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils (We have lots of stainless steel equipment and it sparkles!)Certification Requirements (post-hire): •CDFA General Pasteurizers’ License, CDFA Limited Sampler & Weigher LicensePhysical
•Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb frequently, and to lift and carry up to 10 lb continuously.

The Electrician Helper position is to assist in the performance of the assigned work. Experience is required in bending conduit, mounting electrical panels and junction boxes, installing and terminating electrical wiring in a clean, safe and concise manner to achieve the set goals. The helper must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings. The helper is required to follow the instructions of the electrical leads and suggest improvements.

Job Duties: Duties performed without direct supervision include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Review drawings with lead man
- Review drawings and refer any problem requiring changes to lead man
- Be familiar with stock on hand and keep lead and supervisor advised on shortages of supplies to minimize work slowdowns / stoppage
- Keep lead man updated on job progress
- Pull, terminate, and phase wire
- Install electrical fittings
- Drilling and knocking out holes/set up
- Knowledge and ability to comply with company’s safety standards, OSHA
- Standards and EPA Standards
- Perform material handling and housekeeping functions
- Retrieve and deliver supplies and equipment using material handling equipment.
- Participate in group discussions such as job briefings

1. Must be able to read and understand posted bulletins, regulations, rule books, manufacturer manuals, and work instructions in English

This position will be within Jones & Frank's National Projects group, and will require national travel to project sites.
The Construction Helper performs many tasks that require physical labor on construction sites. The Helper mainly assists the construction craft worker or electrician. They may carry tools and materials or help set up equipment. They are able to perform a wide range of tasks varying in complexity from very easy to extremely difficult and hazardous; however, most tasks can be learned quickly if needed.
- Be able to spot and direct the heavy equipment operators, track hoe and loaders, from the ground during excavation operations. The ability to operate small machinery, such as a skid steer loader or backhoe, is a plus.
- Able to cut and thread steel pipe and assist in the fitting and installation on underground and above-ground tanks.
- Assist with the foreman shooting grades, and small paperwork.
