This position is responsible for a variety of engineering duties, including design of new plants and upgrades, continuous improvement of current production processes, management of small to medium size capital projects and evaluation of new technologies. This position will be a technical expert in the process chemistry and production processes at REG facilities.
Look for ways to optimize plant processes and implement changes to enhance plant profitability
Assist plants with debottlenecking, troubleshooting and investigating quality excursions
Support efforts of plant start-up crews and support teams as needed, providing on-going technical support with an emphasis on minimizing down time and maximizing plant efficiency
Train personnel on proper techniques in operations, equipment operations, equipment maintenance, testing, and other areas as necessary

Design bid packages and evaluate and review project costs and budgets with the contractor
Assist in design review phase for construction of new biodiesel plants and technology upgrades, evaluating contractor drawings such as P&ID's, mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, architectural, and general layout
Monitor contractor progress throughout the construction process including a final review of contractor work before the contractor leaves the site
Coordinate with contractors to accommodate design changes made during construction
Evaluate and ensure safety procedures are being followed in plant operations and encourage others to do the same

The Process Engineer is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of chemical processes used to produce printed circuit boards. This includes application engineering of processes developed by suppliers that are planned for use at TTM, installation of these processes and or equipment, establishment of operating conditions to produce TTM product, daily monitoring of process conditions, and performing failure mode effect analysis to determine failure points of the process. Will be working in a chemical environment and exposed to potentially hazardous chemistries while performing daily job duties. Will undergo Chemical Handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.
