Specific Job Duties:
This position is for an experienced CVD equipment engineer who can act as an individual and team contributor within the SAS 300mm facilities in Austin, TX.
Identify gaps in expected KPI performance for multiple CVD equipment. Develop projects with schedules in order to close gaps. Produce results that are documented in professional, high quality reports demonstrating current state and desired state of equipment and results of the optimized condition. Conclusions are based on statistical analysis and reported with appropriate graphical representations.
Respond to critical fab events that require containment speed and quick resolution to ensure minimal impact to product. Generate reports (such as 8D) illustrating root cause of incidents, corrective actions and future preventative measures.
Take ownership of challenging and complex problems that require fundamental CVD equipment knowledge. Participate in task force teams that address fab-wide KPI for yield improvement, defect reduction, OEE improvement, and scrap reduction. Formulate ideas/experiments that can provide conclusions that will reveal a path forward for continuous improvement.
Proficient in the use of Lean and statistical analysis practices.
Provide the expert knowledge and judgment for change point management decisions.
Train and mentor junior engineers and equipment technicians to spread knowledge and improve work efficiency and overall knowledge within group.
Complete routine daily monitoring of processes/equipment performance and take action on trends that demonstrate abnormal behavior. Set the example for maintaining the CVD Team’s high quality standards.
Create and update SOPs to standardize work flows and improve working methods. Support technology node transfers and process spread across tools.
Support cost reduction activities.

We are looking for a Sales Representative with a solid foundation in technical sales and a proven record of success! We already have an extensive database with thousands of warm and hot leads. We also participate in multiple trade shows per year and have an extensive print media advertising circulation. With print media and web presence, great machinery and reputation, and a heavy repeat customer base, sales leads come to us!
- Technical Degree or Relevant Work Experience
- 5 years+ of sales experience in capital equipment is a plus (particularly product identification)
- Proficiency in Windows-based programs with the ability to learn new software programs
- Demonstrated success in a business-to-business capital goods selling environment to all levels of a company (President, Operations, Purchasing, Maintenance)
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, to work with a wide range of customers
- Proven ability to grow existing customer accounts while also hunting for new opportunities/customers by creatively sourcing and cold calling
- Strong analytical skills to explain and demonstrate cost reductions and operational improvements
- Ability to “think outside the box” to develop customer service requirements and implement total solutions

The Regional Sales Engineer will play a vital role within this high performing team, offering high-tech automation equipment to engineers, executives and other key decision makers in your territory. You will build relationships and network with current customers while continuing to search for new and developing markets, utilizing your technical expertise to discuss the best mechanical solutions for these client’s needs.
· Bachelors required; Engineering Degree is a Plus
· 2 years of technical sales experience
· Industrial machinery/equipment/automation sales is a Plus
