- North America, reporting to Facilities Management The Chief Building Engineer will efficiently plan, lead and coordinate all operation and maintenance activities for the buildings systems and equipment for the corporate location. Need Parsons’ New York City office is seeking a
Chief Civil Engineer . This position offers exciting challenges and opportunities for managing engineering and project execution activities related to highway and complete street planning/design for major clients in the New York City area and statewide. The successful candidate will provide oversight and direction to a multi-disciplined team and drive the successful completion of projects and civil engineering tasks.
The candidate will be responsible for the quality of civil design work in NYC and will communicate across multi-disciplined groups and build consensus, foster strong relationships, both internally and externally. This is a client-facing role for an experienced manager to work on the front end of proposals/bid opportunities, as well as manage multiple projects.
Requirements + 15 + years of related highway/road design engineering and project management work experience.
Proficiency in policies and procedures for New York State and New York City Departments of Transportation, the New York City Department of Design and Construction, and other key clients.
