About Transmission and Distribution
Southern California Edison's (SCE's) Transmission and Distribution Organization (T&D) is responsible for planning, engineering, constructing, operating, and maintaining transmission and distribution facilities throughout the 50,000-square-mile territory. T&D is the steward of roughly $19 billion in assets that safely and reliably deliver electricity to 14 million residents via SCE's 5 million customer accounts.
This position will be in the Safety, Training, and Compliance organization within Southern California Edison's (SCE) Transmission & Distribution Organizational Unit (T&D). The successful candidate will be responsible to perform in-depth analysis, develop recommendations, and provide consulting related to Distribution work methods, construction, and planning standards. This position will also be responsible to assist in the oversight, specifications, builds, and regulatory compliance of the Transmission & Distribution fleet.
Typical responsibilities will include:
Supporting Field Construction with Work Methods and Distribution Construction Standards for both Overhead and Underground Construction.
Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing overhead and underground grounding safety programs and construction standards related to tools and grounding.
Demonstrated knowledge or experience of interactions with regulatory entities such as Cal-OSHA, ANSI, and ASTM.
Ergonomic considerations in the adoption of work methods and construction standards.
Responsibility for the design and specifications of workforce vehicles.
Write and review bulletins related to work methods, material, and standards to be distributed throughout T&D.
Participating in the Job Aid Process and working with the SCE training department to complete the design process for new tools and equipment.
Maintaining a safety conscious work environment by following Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
Work with Supply Chain Management developing and reviewing Bid Packages related to vehicles, tools, and equipment for T&D.
Act as subject matter expert (SME) on various team and committees within SCE and throughout the utilities industry.
Performing other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Eight or more years of electrical utility experience with emphasis on distribution.
Recognized as a utility industry expert and resource related to distribution work methods, construction, and planning standards.
Recognized as an expert and industry resource of electric utility tools, equipment and vehicles.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge with fleet and equipment utilized by both U.S. and international electric utilities.
Demonstrated experience leading and/or participating on technical cross-functional teams.
In-depth experience with electrical distribution work methods, planning, equipment, tools and materials. Typically recognized as an industry expert.
In-depth working knowledge/experience with the typical tools and equipment utilized in construction, operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to assist with the development of job/training aids for new or enhanced tools and equipment.
Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.

This role is not expected to exceed 25 hours a week, although CROSSMARK maintains discretion to change the hours based on the needs of the business
Required availability: Saturday and Sunday 10 am - 7 pm
Most shifts are 4 to 6 ½ hours in length, including breaks.
Events run on a staggered shift schedule primarily between the preferred hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. every day of the week. The number of events vary per week, so your assigned schedule depends on the work load for that week. Periodically, we do have special events that require work hours outside these primary hours.
Computer and Technology Proficiency

POSITION SUMMARY: We believe that safety is paramount, and that all employees have a right to go home to their families in the same way they came to work. The Field Safety Inspector will play a pivotal role in this process, ensuring that all OSHA regulations, and company safety policies are being enforced on a daily basis with our construction and service technician teams who perform their work primarily at supermarkets. The Hillphoenix construction team performs the installation of commercial refrigeration systems and cases while the service technician team services these systems.
The Field Safety Inspector is responsible for driving to job sites "supermarkets" spread throughout the greater Southern California area. Pushing for a company culture that places safety at the forefront of everything we do, and is everyone's responsibility. As the Field Safety Inspector, you will be at the tip of the spear in this effort!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Perform visual safety audits at job sites "primarily at supermarkets" and summarize findings and prepare reports of the sites audited.
Conduct regular company vehicle safety inspections and audits while out at job sites.
Identify and remedy unsafe working conditions with the goal of establishing an injury free worksite.
Have a teaching verses a telling manner that allows individuals to understand the reasoning behind the behaviors we desire.
Work to make safety a behavior rather than a policy or goal we look to adhere to.
Willing to travel (up to 80% of the time) to our various job sites in the Greater Southern California area. (May require an overnight stay in San Diego up-to two times per year)
Nighttime safety audits may be required as needed on job sites where our employees are working a night shift.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

FUNCTIONAL GROUP Operations
Merrill Edge Financial Solutions Advisor- Fresno County, Kern County, LA County, Ventura County, And San Bernardino County Areas- Bilingual Spanish OR Mandarin Required
FSA develops new investment and banking business through leads generated from internal partnering. The FSA will identify, profile and meet with clients to analyze and review financial goals. Engages customers in the lobby for delivery of store value proposition. The FSA will triage client leads and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds. Participates in on-going training and interaction with the Merrill Lynch Wealth Complex. The role is a bridge between banking and brokerage, therefore the FSA must have a general awareness of core banking and investment solutions. The FSA should be able to provide an enterprise product view for our clients, executing referrals across banking and brokerage lines. Demonstrates proficiency with appropriate banking center systems and routines to support sales process. Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) required and Insurance licenses desired. CFP or CRCP preferred. 4 year business degree preferred. One+ years experience in business development and investments training.

Required Skills & Experience: "MUST" have these skills to be minimally qualified.
Three + years of proven investment business development experience, including investment training. In-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
One+ years experience in business development and investments training.
Experience creating a comprehensive financial strategy, assessing needs, identifying, and recommending financial solutions.
Knowledge of banking (credit and deposit) products and services desired.
Must be able to provide evidence of consultative communication and relationship building skills leading to client service, fulfillment and delight in previous roles.
Series 7 required. This role also requires series 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66). If you do not currently hold the 66 but have either a 63 or 65 an offer can be extended with the condition that a passing score is received for the missing series within 60 days.

Supports delivering sales plan through effective execution of store and operational tasks.
Building High Performing Teams:
Participates in the hiring process by screening and scheduling interviews for candidates
Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager
Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers
Coach and reward in the moment to maximize selling potential of associates
Responsible for enforcing company policy, ensures a safe work environment, free of harassment or unlawful discrimination
Support onboarding and continued training of sales associates
Lead and model the selling and customer experience standards
Lead selling efforts to meet selling goals during scheduled shifts
Ensure associates consistently execute to the selling model
Display knowledge of product, company policies and store strategies
Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work
Build highly satisfied and loyal customer base through engagement, conversion and capturing customer phone and e-mail
Assist in meeting payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage (manage call-ins / call-offs)
Ensure associates receive scheduled breaks and meal periods (per state specific guidelines)
Telling The Brand Story:
Support replenishment activities that keep the store full and abundant
Assist with floorsets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc. as directed
Execute visual standards and maintain a safe, inviting store appearance
Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret / disseminate company directive when assigned as manager on duty
Act as the manager on duty, when scheduled, to address customer service, vendor or maintenance issues
Responsible for communicating any issues during opening/closing shifts to the store manager
Maintain policies and procedures
Lead operational teams*
Incorporate Loss Prevention and safety messages into daily operations
