This position is located within the Graphic & Distribution Services unit of the Procurement & Support Services Department, which is responsible for providing a vast array of publications reproduction, design and records management support programs to the campus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Reprographics Specialist III preforms complex, technical and/or specialized work requiring extensive advanced knowledge and expertise; all work requires a broad and specialized knowledge base of reprographics, offset and digital printing, prepress, large format, large format poster printing and copying; a thorough knowledge if PC computers, digital print and copy systems, proofers, CTP and equipment used in printing required; ensure setup of projects is accurate for press/copy runs, operate and maintain digital and offset presses and copy equipment with speed, accuracy and precision producing a wide range of color publications requiring hairline registration; performs an array of prepress functions associated with the offset/digital process section that includes but are not limited to: preflight, platemaking, color proofing, creating bleeds, spreads and chokes and impositoning to meet appropriate printing and bindery production requirements. Rule out printed sheet, compare against proof, making sure all corrections have been made and receive color approval from client approved proofs; accurately estimate production time and quantities of materials necessary for given projects, organize, prioritize, schedule and structure multiple work tasks concurrently.
Monitor inventory of stocks, supplies, inks to ensure availability as work is assigned. Work effectively and demonstrate currency of publishing services. Provide necessary adjustments on equipment and perform maintenance as required.
Incumbent operates and maintains a variety of digitally networked printer/copier equipment producing a wide range of black and white and full color publications; accurately estimates production time and quantities of materials necessary for given projects, organize, pricing, prioritize, schedule and structure multiple work tasks concurrently; work effectively and demonstrate currency of knowledge with advanced technology utilized in providing high quality reproduction publishing services; review complex and diverse print orders and manage each print job from start to finish, including file preparation, printing, scanning, and file management, using digital plan room tools, coordinating projects with other departments and providing bindery services; maintain inventories and coordination of supplies and materials; coordinate shipping and delivery of finished products; ensuring safety and quality control; assist with equipment maintenance; scheduling student workers; and working knowledge of department administrative procedures including job estimating, pricing and billing, reprographics budget procedures and related administrative functions. The incumbent adjusts and operates assorted binder equipment and performs complex bindery paper finishing processes to include but not be limited to; machine and hand paper folding; machine and hand collating; punching and binding; sequential digital numbering and variable data; paper scoring; perforating; paper drilling and cutting; other materials necessary for given projects; organize, prioritize, schedule and structure multiple work tasks concurrently. Work effectively and demonstrate currency of knowledge with advanced technology utilized in providing high-quality reproduction publishing services; and perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent, AND one (1) year of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Possess specialized skills as well as a broad knowledge of reprographics operations, processes and systems.
Proficiency in applicable PC and Macintosh platforms, their operating systems and applicable software packages. Thorough knowledge of the operation, adjustment and routine maintenance of mechanical, digital and computerized equipment and systems. Working knowledge of desktop publishing and graphic software and the ability to manipulate and translate media, as well as process electronic files using pre-press software.
Thorough knowledge of campus graphics standards and procedures. Requires a thorough knowledge of lithography and reprographics systems and operations. Ability to set up and operate high speed copiers (black & white and color), digital presses and/or multi-color offset presses to produce high quality work.
Thorough knowledge of mixing and matching ink, manipulating color values and ensuring even density on the sheet and consistent color throughout the job using applicable equipment.
Thorough knowledge of applicable U.S. Postal Service requirements and processes related to standard and automated mailing processes and other shipping and receiving methods.
Effective communication and customer service skills including the ability to advise customers on print needs and effectively work with designers to find creative solutions to provide products that satisfy requirements established by the customer and designer. Satisfactorily resolve customer complaints. Effective organizational skills to coordinate work within a specified area within reprographics and to provide lead work direction to other staff and students.
Ability to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment. If assigned, ability to provide lead work direction to lower level Reprographics Specialists and student assistants. Working knowledge of department administrative procedures including job estimating, pricing and billing, reprographics budget procedures and related administrative functions
The ability to read, write, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions. The ability to make calculations for paper, ink and costing; the ability to function successfully in a team environment and be able to assume independent responsibility for multiple assignments amid numerous distractions.

The ability to provide training to reprographic specialists and students assistants. The ability to perform routine and special maintenance on equipment as required to ensure optimal machine performance based on equipment specifications and manufacturer's recommended schedules. The ability and manual dexterity to safely and efficiently operate graphic arts reproduction equipment.
The ability to set up, run and monitor bindery equipment. Lifting over 50 pounds will be shared and occasional. Able to stand for long periods of time. Completion of training or coursework in printing or related areas are preferred.

This position is focused on providing the necessary skills and knowledge in order to safely perform MicrofluxTM Control System (MFC) functions as a technician. The expectation is for the individual to be proficient in applying knowledge and applications of the MicrofluxTM Control System and Rotating Control Devices (RCD). Perform green tagging, In Casing Test and all documented procedures for the MFC and RCD

Provide systems engineering technical support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) – System Assessment (DE/EEA) by identifying and resolving complex problems crossing organizational boundaries, as well as promulgating solutions. Supervise, as well as, physically handle the loading/unloading of trailers.

Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: The function of this position is to be competent at performing all functions of the production line, except mounting .Ensures quality of product and strictly adheres to all safety regulations wearing the appropriate PPE. Contributes to the team in a positive way and adheres to the attendance policy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following: (These duties are part of the production line rotation. Other duties may be required and assigned to meet business needs.)
Using the build schedule, select appropriate valve stem components for wheel.
Assemble valve stem components by hand.
Operate Nut Runner to install valve stems (if applicable).
Inspect machine using daily checklist.
Use of air-operated O/H crane to lift wheels onto conveyer.
Maintain correct wheels in line-set order.
Ensure wheels are fed to mounter in such a manner that minimizes down time.
Inspect machine using daily checklist.
Roll tire from line-set position to branding/match-mark station at end of conveyor.
Lay tire on conveyor, locate brand area and brand appropriate tires.
Record DOT number (if applicable).
By rolling or using hoist, put tire onto conveyer.
Measure tire pressure to 110 + 5 PSI.
Measure concentricity to customer standards.
May handle shortages.
Remove assembly from conveyor after tilt table reaches vertical position via automatic switch or by operating correct foot pedal to activate pneumatic assist.
Depending on operation, use hoist or roll assembly to appropriate station, conveyer, balancer or rack.
Monitor sequence of assembly using build sheet
Balancer (if applicable)
Set controls on Balancer to appropriate size and style of wheel (Aluminum or Steel).
Remove first tire/wheel assembly from front of conveyor (same as catcher) and roll to balancer station.
Check air pressure in tire, adjust if necessary.
Secure assembly to balancer and proceed with balancing process.
Locate balanced position and apply wheel weights securely with mallet.
Remove assembly from balancer and roll into appropriate rack.
Label the correct line sequence number on assembly
Mobile Equipment Operator
Must be certified.
Safely transport tires, wheels and assemblies through out warehouse.
Safely load and unload trucks, including racks of assemblies on flatbed trailer.
When loading and unloading trucks, make sure truck jack is in place and wheels are choked and dock lock is secured.
Using build schedule verify tires, wheels and assemblies are in appropriate sequence.
Distribute loads to appropriate location in warehouse; on assembly line or in truck.
Monitor and change out propane tank.

Winch Truck Driver
Business Unit: Rentals
The Winch Truck Driver drives and operates a Winch Truck equipped with a single winch, to load and move frac tanks; or with the use of a float (flatbed trailer) to pick up, transport and unload oil field servicing or drilling equipment including but not limited to open top tanks, sand separators, choke manifolds, pipe racks, catwalks and any other equipment, from and to various locations within the work area. This equipment is loaded and unloaded onto the truck or float with the use of the truck's mechanical winch or other loading equipment. All duties of the Winch Truck Driver are to be performed according to the Company operating procedures in order to maximize the safety of all personnel at the work site and to efficiently perform the task.

The Winch Truck Driver drives the Winch Truck to the location to unload or load equipment as required for the job.
Mechanically loads or unloads the equipment using a single winch or other loading equipment. This position requires the employee to handle the winching equipment and to manually tie down the loaded equipment using chains and ratchet boomers.
The Winch Truck Driver is required to drive the truck to and from the area office to the customer's location and back to the area office location. This will require the operator to be knowledgeable of all applicable DOT rules and regulations; and all job related Company, Local, State and Federal requirements.
This position will require the Winch Truck Driver to maintain accurate work tickets based on the Company's requirements and the work performed for the customer as well as the ability to maintain accurate driving log books, pre-trip/ post-trip inspections and maintenance files on the vehicle. This position is responsible for alerting appropriate supervision when mechanical defects are noted on the truck as well as alerting supervision when hours worked may exceed DOT maximums.
Follow safe work and good housekeeping practices as outline in the Select Energy Services HSSE Handbook and other customer HSE location policies.
Demonstrate consistent prudent preventive maintenance practices: consistently perform proper Pre-trip / Post-trip inspection, correct minor deficiencies and document all deficiencies.
Arrive at job site on time with proper equipment and product to complete assigned task.
Complete Accurate Daily Timesheets / Field Tickets, Fuel Reports, and Driver Log.
An understanding of basic maintenance concepts is required to perform light to heavy repairs as necessary. All brake work performed on the vehicle will require the driver to have the proper brake certification. The position requires the use of hand tools and other equipment associated with the vehicle.
This position requires various types and levels of job related training with respect to the operation of the equipment, Company Standard Operating Procedures and other specialized training as required by regulatory agencies and the Company.
Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor.

This position works outside in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
