Assist with the design and decoration of large Christmas Trees
Work with appropriate commercial tools, materials and supplies
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
To ensure product, look and design represent the excellence and brand values of St. Nick’s
Planning and managing the tree design from conception to completion, from creation to implementation
To manage quality throughout the entire design & decor process
Perform other duties as assigned
Previous experience in Commercial Holiday/Christmas Tree Design & Decoration
Detailed knowledge of Christmas tree design, decoration and installation for Commercial properties.
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Must have prop building/hanging ability
Ability to handle physical workload
Lift and move product up to 50 pounds
Able to safely climb tall ladders up to 40'
Must be comfortable with heights and able to climb ladders, roofs and trees. (Heights ranging from 25' to 100', plus)
Ability to work well in teams
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Must be able to take direction well
Enjoy working outside
Be able to work outdoors for long periods of time, 6 days a week
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be flexibility with work days and hours during November and December.
Bilingual in Spanish, a plus!

OVERVIEW: Our seasonal kettle workers will stand next to our signature Red Kettles in front of stores, greet customers and collect donations in our Red Kettles. Duties involve greeting customers as they go in and out of stores, thank customers for the kind/generous donation, be able to stand outside for up to 8 hours per day. All job offers are contingent of successfully passing a criminal background check, successfully passing everification and CFC approval. DUTIES: 1.
Never leave kettle unattended for any reason, at any time, except for authorized breaks and only at a secure location. 2. Wear the identification, including any special clothing, provided by The Salvation Army (TSA) at all times at the kettle stand. The ID is to be returned at the end of employment. 3.
Report to work timely and present yourself in a clean and orderly condition. 4. Work the hours and location determined by the Kettle Coordinator, and if you are unable to work a regularly scheduled day, call the Corps office no later than 9:00 a.m. that morning. 5. Responsible for completing, signing and placing a daily time card in your kettle at the end of the working day. 6.
Abide by all rules, regulations and instructions provided by the Kettle Coordinator and TSA. If corrective action is warranted, appropriate action will be taken, up to and including termination. 7.
