Machine Operator, Filling & Packing Machine Operators – Large distribution center seeks 4 Machine Operators to run the filling and packing equipment at their facility in Chatsworth, CA.
These are full-time positions where you will earn $12.50 an hour. The facility is climate-controlled with free onsite parking and an employee lunchroom equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and vending machines available for your use. Personal protection equipment will be provided by the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Machine start-ups and first article procedures.
- Filling out production record header information, and confirming parts, sales releases, speeds, lubricants, etc.
- The placement of packaging components on assembly and filling lines.
- Helping to ensure all parts needed for work orders are placed in the proper areas.
- Tagging and labeling materials.
To be considered for these machine operator positions, you must have at least 1 year of machine operating experience and:
- Good math skills.
- Be able to speak English.
- Be able to lift up to 25 lbs., as needed.
- Have a flexible schedule.
- Consent to a drug screen. This is a drug-free work environment.
