JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for operating and monitoring an automated cigarette tax-stamping machine.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Use correct lifting practices while loading and unloading product to stamping machine and / or conveyor.
Comply effectively with company work and safety rules.
Continually meet assigned production standards.
Maintain a quality of work that limits mispicks, shorts and damages.
Work independently and in a team environment.
Be trained and certified to operate any required equipment within 30 days after hire.
Comply with company attendance policy.
Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the Distribution Center; work schedules may require working an early shift, staying long for a late shift, and weekend work depending on the customer and operational requirements of the division.
Work in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38°F to 110°F.
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or more.
Ability and willingness to select/load/unload and/or deliver ALL products that may be ordered by our customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Machine Operator - Days
Machine Operator – (7am – 7pm)
Operate stretch blow molding machines and lift equipment, inspect and pack rigid-plastic PET containers, and perform scheduled charting and inspections on machines and associated equipment.
Start and stop stretch blow molding machines to produce quality, rigid-plastic containers.
Perform routine inspections, cleaning & lubricating and/or tightening of machine assembles.

Toner Pack Materials Machine Operator
Our client in Webster, NY has an immediate opening for a Toner Pack Materials Machine Operator for a 7 month contract assignment (Possibility of extension).
2nd Shift (2:30PM to 11:00PM)
Pay on 2nd Shift: $14.10/hr
The toner pack materials machine operator is responsible for the packaging of toner products on automated pack lines
Going up and down stairs
Maneuvering pallet jack and walkie stacker
Understand all safety procedures and wear the required protective gear (ESD hard toe safety shoes and safety glasses required in the plant; bump cap in some areas)
Operate semi-automated and automated devices, such as robots.
Interface with computer systems and PLC's, and troubleshoot machinery using information provided by those systems (ie, alarm messages, fault messages).
Work on elevated platforms.

Responsible for the efficient operation of various packaging machinery including tube filler, ointment fillers, cappers, liquid filler and other miscellaneous equipment. Responsible for setting-up, disassembling, cleaning and basic maintenance on packaging equipment.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Performs set-up and prepares line for packaging - various packaging equipment

Continually observes product and materials being used and rejects any, substandard materials or packages not in conformance with FDA-cGMPs

As an Operator I Trainee, learns to do the job and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. Follows written procedures and verbal instructions to accomplish assignments of a routine and repetitive nature.
