Edger Technician (PM Shift)

Visionworks is currently has an opening for a top notch individual to office in our manufacturing location for the position of Edger Tech . The Tech ensures that the frame matches tray work order. Verifies proper edging parameters and shape. Edges lenses down to the proper size using a computerized roughing/milling machine (edger). Performs support functions within the edging area to include basic upkeep of the area.
Prioritize tray processing flow as dictated by tray color/priority sticker.
Select appropriate job number for processing.
Ability to properly turn on main power, initialize edger startups, perform reboots and recovers from edger/robot errors.
Validate shape display to job in process.
Edge lenses to correct size, bevel location and applies a safety bevel and mount lenses into frame.
Accurately place an appropriate cosmetically acceptable pin bevel on lens.
Accurately place the grove for various lens designs, determine proper blade depth and utilize V-bevel to adjust size or shape of a lens.
Properly identify if slippage has occurred during the edging process.
Test and validate axis, size and bevel placement.
Validate operation, clean lens feelers, adjust sizing, bevel placement and safety bevel.
Perform probe calibration.
Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and principles.
Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.
Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience & Background:
- One to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be able to read English to understand written procedures, hazardous warning, etc.
- Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

Circle Content Manager
Squarespace's professional user program, Circle, provides support, inspiration, and community for tens of thousands of independent creatives who build websites for clients on Squarespace. The Circle team is expanding its capacity to create skill-building, sales, and marketing resources, which will be made available exclusively to our community, and is hiring a new team member to lead that effort.
As the Circle Content Manager, you will help shape a key component of the Circle growth strategy and be responsible for achieving clearly defined goals around member engagement and website building activity. The library you create will be a mix of topical and evergreen resources executed in a variety of media and formats, and each piece will meet Squarespace's high design standards. Your work will further establish Circle as a trusted authority on the art, science, and business of website design, and empower our community to grow their own businesses and help their clients succeed online.
This role is based in New York and reports into the Creative Ecosystem Manager.
Work with the Creative Ecosystem Manager to set the strategy for all Circle resources
Oversee the development of a dynamic library of resources, ranging from sales toolkits to trend forecasts to practical business advice
Manage the day to day operations of Circle resource development and publication: Define and scope assignments, recruit and contract freelancers, oversee development and production, review and provide feedback on works in progress, route for approval, obtain necessary clearances, and publish to a members-only Resource Hub
Track key performance indicators and ensure that we are meeting or exceeding our ambitious goals
Collaborate with colleagues on the Product and Marketing teams to ensure that all Circle members understand the depth and breadth of Squarespace's offerings and can communicate our value propositions to clients
Collaborate with colleagues on the Circle team on the development of resources that reinforce or contribute to other Circle initiatives (such as the Authorized Trainers program)
3-5 years of experience in an editorial or content strategy role, including experience managing the work of freelance creatives
Excellent writing and editing skills
Proven track record of developing content and resources that achieve specific business targets and goals, and of transforming qualitative and quantitative insights into engaging content
Ability to earn the trust and respect of stakeholders in a complex environment
Nice to have: Experience developing sales and marketing strategies and/or developing sales and marketing collateral

President's Circle And Planned Giving Manager
Crotched Mountain seeks a high energy and experienced professional to serve as Major Gift and Planned Giving Officer. The incumbent will possess skills in building trusting relationships with client family members, donors, friends and external constituents in order to generate annual capital and estate gifts for Crotched Mountain. Will have daily interactions with all constituencies and be responsible for all phases of the gift cycle, including initiating contact, cultivating and moving potential donors to solicitation and closure, making solicitations, writing proposals, and stewarding donors. This is a highly-visible position where energy, diplomacy, judgment, sophistication, and an understanding of philanthropy, Crotched Mountains culture and vision and of populations with special needs are essential. Will work collaboratively with key volunteers, organizational leadership, Advancement staff and others to identify, cultivation, solicit and steward prospects for leadership gifts.
This position further requires strong organizational skills and an impeccable work ethic; the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously while working calmly under the pressure of deadlines; personal initiative and achievement against goals; exceptional verbal and written communications skills, engaging interpersonal skills, and a great sense of humor.
Major & Capital Gift Fundraising
In collaboration with the Vice President of Advancement, conducts a minimum of 75 - 100 personal cultivation and solicitation visits with key donors per year focusing on annual leadership and major capital gifts exceeding $25,000.
Supports major gift volunteers who financially support Crotched Mountain in a visionary and strategic fashion as it relates to gift revenue generation.
Demonstrate take-charge ability to problem solve, analyze, influence and motivate donors and potential donors.
Writes individualized funding proposals and stewardship letters.
Work with VP for Advancement and major gift officers in design and implementation of major and planned giving programs. Provide assistance in development of annual and long-term operating plans, including setting annual and long-term quantitative and qualitative goals.
Respond to prospect and donor inquiries and requests, including developing gift opportunities and related written materials.
Travel and tend to new and former prospects needs, in order to develop a strategy to uphold their involvement.
Work with program teams in developing and implementing outreach and cultivation activities and events for alumni donors and prospects, as well as target constituencies. Participate in assigned special events and receptions as they pertain to assigned prospects.
Work with Marketing and Communication team to develop a wide range of written cultivation, solicitation, acknowledgement and stewardship materials including correspondence.

Position requires a bachelors degree (advanced degree and/or CFRE preferred) and a minimum of 5-7 years demonstrated record of accomplishment in fostering strong relationships and active hands-on fund raising preferably in education. The incumbent will have professional experience in a comprehensive development program, a proven track record in major gifts ($25,000 and above) and capital fundraising; understanding of special education and other services for populations with disabilities; demonstrated ability to develop and manage volunteers; experience in the area of planned giving; proven special events fund raising experience; and exceptional oral and written communication skills.
