This position provides an opportunity for an established civil engineer to join a team of engineering and environmental scientists to provide a comprehensive range of services to clients in civil and environmental engineering, surveying and environmental consulting.
5+ years site and infrastructure design experience (water, wastewater, drainage, roads)
Professional Engineering registration in applicable state
Word, and Excel experience required
Perform project work under supervision of Managing Engineer.
Perform construction oversight and field documentation.
Support business development efforts in conjunction with our sales team.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related?

- Preferred 2 to 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering or related; land development experience is a major plus
- Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications in Civil Engineering in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent computer, writing, communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to walk, lift, carry, stoop, bend, twist and work in the outdoors on uneven surfaces routinely (no more than 20 pounds).
- EIT certification preferred

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer for a new program at Kirtland AFB Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- The Civil Engineer is responsible for providing reliable and responsive Civil Engineer support to ensure effective and efficient operations of U.S.-owned and occupied facilities, associated installed equipment, and infrastructure. This includes the maintenance of all infrastructure, engineering support, fire protection and prevention services.
- Perform specific duties and responsibilities related to civil engineering.
- Provides efficient, effective and timely civil engineering expertise, to include but not limited to and petroleum, oil and lubricant delivery systems supporting the development, site development, roadway and airfield design.
- Provides the scope definition, specification, studies, budgeting and write-up into project proposals of civil engineering projects and develops IGCE’s for small projects.

- Consult and coordinate with electrical, structural and mechanical engineers during the design phase to ensure a proper electrical layout.
- Must be able to identify common site architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection/detection system components and have experience planning or performing maintenance, improvements, or repairs.
- Must possess applicable building code and life safety knowledge to provide assessment services
- Interpret construction/engineering contract drawings and specifications to ensure all construction meets initial design and specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis for civil infrastructure failures.
- Must have knowledge of preventive maintenance and reliability centered maintenance principles and processes
- The civil engineer shall have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

What You Will Do
Our Geotechnical, Dams, & Hydraulics Practice is currently seeking a staff level Civil Engineer to join the Jacksonville, FL office.
As a Civil Engineer, you will assist in the completion of projects within a wide variety of business sectors, with a focus in water resources and dam / levee engineering. You will also assist in civil / site design, grading and drainage plans, water, wastewater, and stormwater utility design.
Perform civil engineering calculations for various projects with respect to civil / site design; grading and drainage plans; water, wastewater, and stormwater utility design.
Develop erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater management plans, in compliance with local, state, and / or federal regulations and permit requirements.
Use hydrologic and hydraulic programs (HEC-1, HEC-RAS, etc.), water / wastewater programs (WaterCAD and SewerCAD), and civil / site programs (Civil 3D and InRoads).
Assist in the preparation of written reports and documentation, project correspondence, design and construction drawings and specifications for design, permitting, and construction.
Provide construction observation support during the construction phase of various projects.
