The classifier will be expected to determine appropriate classifications in accordance with both U.S. and international patent classification systems through technical knowledge, research, and automated tools. The successful candidate will have technical expertise in one or more of the following major technical fields and must be motivated to exceed productivity and quality targets.
Patent Classifier Fields of Expertise:
1.Tech Field CB
Applied Chemistry and Biology
Organic chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical compositions, microbiology, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, catalysts, polymers, coating materials.
2.Tech Field IC - Industrial Chemistry – Industrial processes including molding, coating, printing, chemical etching, printing, gas and liquid separation and purification, distillation, electrolysis. Industrial products and materials including metallurgy, batteries, stock materials.
3.Tech Field CS - Computer Science – Databases, cryptography, software, dynamic storage, data processing, security, hardware, e-commerce.
4.Tech Field CO – Communications/Audio/VisualNetworking, pulse or digital communication, telephony, multiplex communication, wireless communication systems, optical communication, imaging and displaying, television, radiant energy, lighting, acoustics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include:
Learn patent classification, search, and examination processes.

Apply knowledge of classification, search, and examination processes to provide analysis and prepare written reports for patent attorneys and others in the IP industry.
Use automated systems to perform research and classification operations.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

BAE Systems is hiring a Security Specialist II to support classified programs on Hill AFB, UT. Seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
Successful candidate will work with minimal supervision directly in classified material management activities such as identification and correction of classified material/accesses, assigning Document Control Numbers to ensure proper markings for use by library patrons. Should have at least basic knowledge of additional classifications and special accesses such as CNWDI, RD, FRD and NATO.

Properly handle classified documents.
Maintain security-related classified document records.

Ensure accountable documents are annotated in the document database and prepare and deliver material burn bags for destruction or use classified shredder in accordance with DOE Orders.
Make copies of classified documents on government-furnished equipment in accordance with DOE/NNSA regulations.
Receive, store, or forward Secret and Confidential Restricted Date (RD), formerly Restricted Data (FRD), National Security Information (NSI) as well as other sensitive information (e.g., Official Use Only (OUO)) material to comply with Federal and DOE regulations and implementing guidance.
Use NNSA security procedures to verify mail channels and recipient clearance levels, prepare document transmittal receipts, wrap and deliver classified material to appropriate carrier. Issue document transmittal receipt tracers requests.
Operate the classified fax machines and act as the point of contact for incoming and outgoing classified faxes. Prepare the classified fax transmittal sheets and verify classified fax numbers.
Visitor Access Support
Act as a point of contact between NNSA, and other Government agencies, outside entities, and coordinate with DOE/NNSA personnel security office to exchange appropriate visit request access information.
Prepare and transmit official visitor access requests for NNSA personnel to visit DOE and NNSA laboratories and other government agencies.
Answer requests from the DOE/NNSA personnel security organization to verify need-to-know status of individuals from companies or other agencies who desire to receive temporary badges to visit DOE facilities, including Headquarters.
Maintain/provide access authorization list for personnel access into respective limited areas.
Escort all uncleared visitors into the Limited Access Areas.
Records Management and Archival Support
Establish and maintain office file plan, files, records, and databases, including electronic data files architecture consistent with standard file storage/structure methodologies.
Maintained, organized and stored in accordance to Records Management Handbook.
Schedule records for archiving, and retrieve documents, as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Government, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or related Degree
Must have a minimum of Ten (10) Years' experience supporting a C-level executive which includes a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) OR Senior Executive Service (SES) Members or Military Flag Officers ONLY
Must have extensive administrative and analytical capabilities, an ability to proactively resolve work flow issues, and independently produce high quality written content in various forms.

Ensure accountable documents are annotated in the document database and prepare and deliver material burn bags for destruction or use classified shredder in accordance with DOE Orders.
Make copies of classified documents on government-furnished equipment in accordance with DOE/NNSA regulations.
Receive, store, or forward Secret and Confidential Restricted Date (RD), formerly Restricted Data (FRD), National Security Information (NSI) as well as other sensitive information (e.g., Official Use Only (OUO)) material to comply with Federal and DOE regulations and implementing guidance.
Use NNSA security procedures to verify mail channels and recipient clearance levels, prepare document transmittal receipts, wrap and deliver classified material to appropriate carrier. Issue document transmittal receipt tracers requests.
Operate the classified fax machines and act as the point of contact for incoming and outgoing classified faxes. Prepare the classified fax transmittal sheets and verify classified fax numbers.
Visitor Access Support
Act as a point of contact between NNSA, and other Government agencies, outside entities, and coordinate with DOE/NNSA personnel security office to exchange appropriate visit request access information.
Prepare and transmit official visitor access requests for NNSA personnel to visit DOE and NNSA laboratories and other government agencies.
Answer requests from the DOE/NNSA personnel security organization to verify need-to-know status of individuals from companies or other agencies who desire to receive temporary badges to visit DOE facilities, including Headquarters.
Maintain/provide access authorization list for personnel access into respective limited areas.
Escort all uncleared visitors into the Limited Access Areas.
Records Management and Archival Support
Establish and maintain office file plan, files, records, and databases, including electronic data files architecture consistent with standard file storage/structure methodologies.
Maintained, organized and stored in accordance to Records Management Handbook.
Schedule records for archiving, and retrieve documents, as requested.
REQUIREMENTS

The Range Network Systems Engineering & Integration (RN SE&I) contract provides Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support to the USAF Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Range and Network Directorate (SMC/RN). RN acquires services to modernize and sustain the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS), the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) and the Space Training Acquisition Office (STAO). We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to support Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Windows, and other IT infrastructure on government classified systems in our Colorado Springs, Colorado office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to validate requirements and design infrastructure for processing all levels of classified systems in support of various Air Force Space Command projects. Typical infrastructures will include enclosed software development LANs and government classified network access. Candidate will be responsible for keeping system configured in compliance with accreditation packages, running required audits of the systems, and maintaining user accounts, working with software developers, working with Government system administrators to load software on Govt systems.

Collins Aerospace is currently seeking a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) professional who will oversee and manage all government and customer (Special and/or Collateral) programs to ensure compliance with applicable U.S. government security requirements. This CPSO will report directly to the Manager, Government Security Compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Management of Classified Programs and demonstrated familiarity and application of the DoD 5205.07, SAP Manuals Volume I – IV, and the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) which mandates the baseline Industrial Security requirements for implementing Special Access Programs (SAP), Protecting SAP Information within Information Systems, SAP Nomination Review Process and Physical Security, ICD-ICS 705 for SAP Facilities.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate a proficient knowledge of the NISPOM, (DoD 5220.22.M) including Classified Storage Containers and locking devices in the workplace, Classified Document Control, Communications Security (COMSEC) Administration, the operation of secure communication equipment.
The preferred candidate will also have demonstrable knowledge and application of Contract Security Administration, including security requirements for Government contracts, Classified Visit Requests, Security Control Agreement and Technology/Facility Control Plans.
The position will be responsible for identifying and processing all classified documents that arrive at Hamilton Sundstrand including properly marking, storing, securing and logging of information for all classified contracts. Assist supervisor with oversight, implementation, and adherence to the SAP Standard Operation Procedures and Protection Implementation Plans for Hamilton Sundstrand, including updates and revisions.
Develop Security Education programs and provide Security Briefings to all cleared employees. Ensure all Special Program cleared employees. investigations remain current within a customer/government required scopes.

KSA-1 - Knowledge of Federal Laws, CFR 10 & 49 and Federal manuals TP45-51B, TP20-11 and Type B manual, which pertain to the transportation of nuclear materials, and components, in particular radioactive cargo, to ensure maximum safety of cargo during transport, applied in formalization of planning and scheduling operations required within the NNSA production complex.
KSA-2 - Knowledge of DOE O 475.2B and DOE O 471.6 requirements that are essential to the protection and control of classified information. Proper marking of classified documents using classification guides CG-OST-1, 7/2013, CG-TSS-4, 7/2013, CG-SS-5, 7/2016, and CG-SST-1, 7/2013.
KSA-3 - Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively in both oral and written form in order to present and defend ideas and positions, and negotiate resolutions to issues and problems.
KSA-4 - Knowledge of Federal Agent Operations is required to ensure compliance with sophisticated TSS safe/secure delivery systems (SGT), unique classified safety/security procedures, and transportation requirements levied by other regulatory entities (DOT, DOE, DOD).
KSA-5 - Working knowledge of the TSS classified computer system sufficient to develop and implement shipping itineraries and resource documents.

The Office of Faculty and Staff Relations (OFSR) is responsible for human resources management for the campus. We are seeking a Human Resources Director who will oversee OFSR's Classified Staff Services, and serve as a hands-on leader while managing various personnel functions for the College.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Office of Faculty and Staff Relations/Labor Designee, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide oversight for all Classified Staff matters, including recruitment, appointment, separation actions, promotion, and performance management.
Handle all hiring and related actions for classified managerial, skilled trades, and blue and white collar staff, including attendance at hiring pools and provisional recruitment, in accordance with civil service rules and regulations, and labor contract provisions.
Manage, motivate, and provide active support to the OFSR Classified Staff Services team to develop full potential and talent, and to ensure continuity of efficient service delivery.
Promote and foster teamwork, open communication, and collaboration within the extended OFSR team.
Oversee time and leave area, including ensuring compliance with rules and regulations pertaining to FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, workers' compensation, and unemployment insurance.
Hear classified staff grievances at the Step I level and represent the college at Step II and external tribunals.
Conduct investigations on classified staff discipline matters, and prepare and present cases in accordance with contractual labor agreements.
Serve as the College's co-liaison to the University's Office of Human Resources Management, and CUNY's Recruitment Network.
Cultivate positive interactions and relations with University partners and other external stakeholders, including employee unions.
Advise and guide managerial and executive staff on personnel-related matters, and provide quality customer service to all that engage with OFSR.
Member on various College committees, including HEO Screening Committee also serving as Secretary; and WVAT.
Perform ongoing review of current personnel policies and procedures, as well as the OFSR webpages, and develop and recommend improvements to support OFSR objectives.
Management and active engagement in planning and participation for college's employee recognition programs, OFSR newsletter, and other employee relations activities.
Exercise discretion and confidentiality in sensitive matters, and act with integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and eight years' related experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
Human Resources experience in higher education
Knowledge of regulatory and contractual matters governing Human Resources and Labor Relations
Ability to interact effectively with a diverse population
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Certifications in Human Resources from SHRM or HRCI
