Cleaning / Housekeeping - Residential & Small Office Cleaner
Performs any combination of the following duties to maintain private homes clean and orderly. Cleans furnishings, fixtures, interior windows and floors using vacuum cleaner, mops, cloths and cleaning solutions. Changes linens and makes beds.
- Team Cleaning:
- As a member of a Maid Brigade 2 or 3 person team, the employee will travel to homes and or small commercial properties to provide cleaning services. Company cars are provided.
- Work Environment:
- Most work will be performed in customers' homes. Temperature and humidity cannot be controlled and may vary widely. The employee must be able to work in a dusty environment where common household dust and pet hair are present.
- Essential Functions of the Job:
- Lift and carry 25 pounds up and down stairs.
- Dexterous use of both hands.
- This is strenuous work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching and lifting.
- Performance Expectations:
- Maintain a good attitude toward customers, fellow team members and management.
- Maintain a clean record in terms of honesty and integrity.
- Be familiar with and adhere to all Maid Brigade rules and policies.
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Some days may be longer or shorter based on the daily workload.
No night shifts or weekends.
Full time or part time position. (Part time employees must be available to work full days, but not five days per week (e.g. M, W, F)

Residential Housekeeping Cleaner - Janitorial
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned by A Personal Touch Cleaning Service, Inc., supervisor.
• Perform as a Team Member. Usual workweek is 20 to 40 hours a week with occasional overtime.

Clean and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel lobby, hallways, public restrooms, and public areas of the hotel.
Clean and maintain the appearance of the surrounding areas of the hotel, including the sidewalk, brass awning poles, signage, entrance and alley.
Clean and set-up meeting room functions according to the function sheets.
Deep cleaning of assigned areas of the hotel including the shampooing of rooms and public areas, window washing, hotel light fixtures, and guest elevators (including elevator tracks).
Clean and maintain the back of the house area, including the employee break room, the changing rooms, the hotel laundry room, the compactor area, and the employee restroom.
Set up and maintain complimentary hotel lobby functions including the morning coffee service and the nightly concierge events.
Deliver housekeeping items (hair dryers, ironing boards, irons, etc.) to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
Get assignments, keys, pager, and special guest requests from your supervisor at the beginning of your shift.
Check and replenish your supplies and cleaning tools.
Greet each guest you see with "Good morning" or (afternoon, evening).
Quickly respond to guest requests in a timely and friendly matter.
Follow procedures for entering and leaving guest rooms.
Return lost items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back of the house to the Housekeeping department as a "lost and found" item with the date, where it was found, description of the item, and finders name.
Turn in keys and pager to Housekeeping Department when shift ends. Specific experience we're seeking:
Less than high school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

20 temporary, full-time Housekeepers from 2/1/18 to 9/3/18 in Myrtle Beach, SC. No minimum education required. 1- month resort/hotel housekeeper experience required. On the job training provided.
To maintain resort/hotel clean and orderly manner. clean guest room accommodations/meeting rooms, halls, and public area spaces; remove, sort, fold, carry, and replace linens; load/unload washers/dryers; make beds; replenish supplies, set-up guest room furniture/meeting room furniture, pictures, and amenities according to resort/hotel standards; mop and/or vacuum and dust, clean bathrooms, clean and polish mirrors and windows.
Minimum 35 hours per week. Open 7 days a week. Multiple 8 hour shifts vary between 9am-9am. Hours and shifts may vary with occupancy.
$9.29/hr. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available, but not guaranteed at $13.94/hr. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received weekly.
Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law and deduct approved cost of housing if worker elects. Employer will assist in finding discount/shared housing. Daily transportation provided to/from housing/worksite.
Employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Required uniform provided.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).
If worker completes half the employment period, employer will arrange and pay directly the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the employment period or where the worker is dismissed early, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.07 per day during travel to a maximum of $51 per day with receipts. All transportation costs are to be preapproved. If necessary, employer will reimburse worker within first pay period for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonable costs.
