Curtis 1000 is seeking an Equipment Feeder to work in our Bloomington, Illinois location. The position is responsible for loading paper into machines, maintaining ink levels, keeping work area clean and organized.

Performs manual tasks in the set-up, maintenance, and operation of printing
Installs plates and blankets on press cylinders
Adjusts press machine parts, such as a feeder, delivery mechanisms, suction grippers, guides, feed wheels, jogging device, tapes and cams as directed, and the use of hand tools

Perform duties to support the production floor by ensuring product is properly loaded onto trailers and when needed perform typical machine shop and roll forming press operations to support the production floor.
Identify, track, sort bill of materials (BOM) and distribute to proper personnel for loading;
Coordinate trailer movements with internal and external customers;
Spotter for trailers backing in;
Quality check loaded trucks to ensure all have been loaded correctly and take appropriate pictures for specific loads;
Determine product loading order for loads with multiple products;
Meet customer delivery requirements;
Operate roll forming machine, shear operation and other equipment, using basic knowledge of computerized machine functions, machine set-ups and operation;
Operate press brake to form steel;
Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor;
Operate overhead cranes;
Ability to act as leader of roll forming operation;
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products;
Participate in Lean activities;

Operates forklift truck to transport skids of paper to and from press and move empty skids to back of press for sheet delivery.
Responsible for staging paper to be used on upcoming job in press staging area.
Responsible for filling all press chemicals, loading inks, putting away inks when done with job and refilling process inks on press shelf when needed.
Understands the importance of environmental responsibilities and disposal of press waste
Responsible for ensuring all used rags are disposed of in rag bin and that the lids remain closed
Responsible for ensuring only one drum of AQ flush water and one drum of fountain solution flush water remain at the press.
Removes any full AQ/Fountain solution flush water drums from press to Non-Hazardous waste staging area.
Ensures that any new drum used to collect waste at the press are properly labeled
Responsible for cleaning ink knives, cleaning ink fountains, cleaning water buckets, cleaning any coater spills, cleaning washer blades and keeping the press area in a clean state, as well as emptying all garbage bins in press area.
Responsible for picking up used rags and gloves in press area, changing rag bag when full and maintaining stack of clean rags for use on the press.
Responsible for shrink wrapping unused paper after a run and filling out the "Leftover Stock" form and attaching it to leftover stock.
Assists the pressman in any maintenance of the press.
Ability to lift 40 Lbs. and work with chemicals and inks necessary to the printing process
Forklift certification required
Previous experience in a printing environment preferred. Some experience in the operation of various hand tools preferred. Must be able to work in a team environment.

Job Title: Loading Dock Master
Reports to: Manager Distribution
Location: UPHS- Materials Management Department (client site)
The Loading Dock Master will be responsible for the overall vehicle activity servicing the PCAM/TRC facility. These duties include monitoring inbound traffic to insure legitimacy of the delivery and appropriate use of the loading dock area.
Determines which loading bay to use based upon various factors including dwell time, vehicle size, proximity to entrance and need of dock leveler. Maintains records of vehicle activity and reports problems to immediate supervisor. Identifies opportunities for improved delivery schedules.
Manages special event deliveries to insure seamless transitions to/from events and insures event staff keep area free of boxes/debris Maintains orderly loading dock including pallets storage/disposition, trash compactor area free of debris and fire and life safety breaches are remedied. Works with Environmental Services Department to insure loading dock area is routinely swept, power-washed and otherwise kept in an orderly manner. Other duties include but not limited to: delivery of shipments to departments within building and receipt of items in Lawson system .
Equipment/Machines/ Tools used: computer, printer, photocopier, fax machine, calculator, telephone, walkie talkie, pallet jack, and various material handing devices.
Physical/ Working Requirements:
The position is primarily an outdoor job working in temperatures ranging from cold ( 32 deg) to hot ( deg). Ability to handle inbound freight up to 50lbs. The position requires frequent walking from apron area of dock to Platform.
