Oversee efforts of Educator team leader and Identify, recruit, train, and retain Andis educators both domestically and internationally.
Grow domestic and international grooming school business through the partnerships with distributors and individual school franchises. Customize educational programs based on opportunity.
Develop ongoing curriculum for the Master Grooming school to include tutorials by breed and animal group. Feature new products and techniques to foster confidence and loyalty to Andis tools. Customize programs for intended market and international needs.
Assist in the planning and execution of major trade events where education is a key component. Become actively involved in domestic and international associations and trade events that directly support a grooming education curriculum.
Partner with all Distributors, domestic and international, to feature Andis Educational programs for their customers. Form partnerships with franchises such as ABC and Nash Academy, to develop content that encourages product trials and builds confidence in tool use. Identify most influential events for Andis presence and manage yearly schedule.
Support Andis social media efforts by creating and soliciting content from brand ambassadors and educators.
Work with support team to define and exeucte video and photo shoots in support of growing tutorial library. Write step by step “How To” guides to be utilized with the media, on line at shows, in classrooms and as part of the Master Grooming school curriculum worldwide.
Develop “How To” guides to be used as hand-outs at shows and educational events, technical guides to be used in trade journals and work with Marketing communications team to develop special events to build brand awareness.
Develop and manage the Education and Sponsorship budgets.
Manage mail and solicitations from consumers in purusit of sponsorships and opportunities to work with Andis. Make recommendations for participation in grooming challenges, competitions, sponsorships and charities to ensure best use of funds to grow brand and further reach.
Meet with the media as the educational face of Andis and be conversant about our products and programs. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Background in Marketing, Education, Business or Corporate Training and curriculum development desirable. Background as a professional groomer in either small animal or large animal (livestock) categories beneficial. If professional groomer, in lieu of above, evidence of demonstrated leadership or curriculum planning for teaching product and skill transfer. Previous leadership experience is also preferred.
