Must be able to work long hours each day and work weekends (mandatory overtime). Must be timely for each shift. * Ability to follow directions and quickly develop positive relationships with customers and co-workers; must be able to work individually and in a group. * Must have visual acuity (ability to see well and close up) to visually sort hops and be able to pass a color blindness test. * Must be able to work in a fast paced, loud, and labor intensive environment; work is indoors in an air conditioned lab setting that can sometimes be very dusty and dirty * Must be able to lift large plastic bins at a minimum of 20 pounds at chest height to sort hops repeatedly. * Must have the ability to use hands for fine manipulation of tweezers to sort hops as well as to operate sorting equipment; must have the strength to apply pressure to lock sorting trays into place. * Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, bend, lift, twist, lift arms overhead, and maintain visual focus for long periods. * Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented; able to use a tablet to input weights and other required data accurately. Ability to use a computer sufficient to enter timesheets as instructed. * Ability to work in an organized manner and have the aptitude for math to determine and understand percentages. * Must be able to successfully pass the USDA Acts and Regulations Test, a technician test, and demonstrate the ability to sample by percentage. * Must learn and follow the rules related to USDA GIPSA standards, WSDA policies and processes. Required Qualifications: * Demonstrated ability to quickly develop positive relationships with customers and co-workers. * Ability to work independently and in a group. * Some skill with math, sufficient to understand and determine percentages, is necessary. * Must be able to maintain reliable attendance for the short appointment period of six to eight weeks. Job Title: Motor Grader Operator Motor Grader Operator's primary function is to operate all sizes of Motor Graders from a 120M up to a 14M assisting with all aspect of the grading operation.
