What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health
Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Responsible for operation of the Intra cloth inspection machine to include quality, safety and mechanical requirements. Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Must observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed. Will be responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions. Must attend all monthly scheduled Safety Meetings.
Responsible for producing a quality product.
Run and inspect cloth according to specified inspection standards and as to construction for shipping rolls.
Arrange cloth rolls from hold table for Intra machine.
Attach ends of cloth together with cloth already in the Intra by using seaming tape and automatic seam to complete a shipping roll of various lengths.
Cut out all defects that do not meet inspection standards. (Ex. Oil spots, thin places and place where leno is out on the selvage, etc.)
Keep records as to what loom number roll was run on in each shipping roll, the number of seams, and the total yardage in the shipping roll. This information goes with each shipping roll that is doffed from each batcher on a ticket from the Intra machine.
Immediately report poor quality loom rolls to the lead person or the Weaving Production Supervisor so quality issues can be immediately addressed.
Report any unusual noises or circumstances that the Intra machine might make or cause while working.
Keep good housekeeping around his/her machine or area of responsibility.
Record total production run during assigned shift with a break down of yardage run by style and number of hours worked.
Total amount of waste by category at end of shift and record this information along with total production.
Wipe off main motor and fluid holding tank. Remove all strings from rollers and Intra frame. Clean and remove strings and tape from air guider. Sweep up around seaming area.
Unload and stack tubes.
Pull cloth from back of machine to rethread when needed.
Get loom rolls off floor and arrange on table by style.
Assist in putting bales back on machine at style change.
Help Team Leader carry waste to Waste House when needed. Sort waste and place in bins.
Change set screws in collars as needed.
Follow all safety rules, plant rules, department rules and implement total quality at all times.
Participate in Plant Corrective Action Team Program.
Participate in Plant Safety Program.
Report all unsafe conditions in a timely manner.

The Software Quality Assurance Tester will work as a liaison with stakeholders and technical staff to analyze, communicate, document, test and validate that software satisfies business requirements to support the agency's mission.
The Software Quality Assurance Tester will operate at a senior level to ensure the successful accomplishment of the agency's mission, supports the mission, goals, and objectives for the Prevention and Community Health division. This will be done by providing technical leadership, software quality assurance management, business and data analysis, software testing and process engineering for the Child Health Data systems project.
Health Technology Solutions (HTS) is the central organization within the Department of Health (DOH) that serves the Information Technology (IT) needs of almost 1,800 employees and 400 IT systems. DOH has four program divisions – Environmental Public Health, Disease Control and Health Statistics, Health Systems Quality Assurance (HSQA), Prevention and Community Health – plus agency central administration. HTS is led by the DOH Chief Information Officer (CIO) who reports to the Chief of Staff.
The Office of Solution Design & Project Support (SDPS) is one of four major offices within HTS consisting of a team of IT Business Liaisons, a Project Management Office (PMO) and Business Services Section (BSS). The BSS connects agency programs with IT solutions through the work of business analysts who identify requirements and testers who validate those requirements are met.
This is a full-time project Software Quality Assurance Tester (ITS 4) position that is currently funded through September 30, 2021. This position is a part of the Child Health Data Systems project.

What will you be doing? – Duties include:
Lead and/or facilitate the gathering of testing requirements through interviews, workshops, consultations, surveys and business process workflows.
Work collaboratively with other technical staff to design the testing of user interfaces and system functionality, ensure changes, modifications and/or maintenance and operation schedules are followed, supported and appropriately identified that supports the software testing life cycle.
Perform testing analysis of data structures to determine dependencies and relationships between data elements using Entity Relationship Diagrams.
Work with the Business Analyst to develop the testing acceptance criteria for technology solutions that support business needs through technical analysis of business requirements, and/or other system requirements.
Develop, review, execute, and implement test plans, test cases, test reports and testing schedules for software implementations and maintains a test repository.
Identify and determine the variance between expected and actual results of defect finding based on software requirements to ensure traceability of requirements.
Review, verify and validate software meets technical specifications and business/functional requirements.
Maintain testing standards and methodologies to instill confidence in the system by ensuring quality assurance testing is performed to the highest level of accuracy and quality.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate is a team player, defined as having a driving passion for the work, bringing humility to their job and people interactions, and understanding how their words and actions affect others.
- Option 1: Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology program or a closely related field; AND two (2) or more years of professional experience in one or more of the following IT disciplines: business analysis, testing, or systems development.
- Option 2: Four (4) years of professional experience in one or more of the following IT disciplines: business analysis, testing, or systems development AND two (2) or more years of experience as a software tester.
- Option 3: Four (4) years of professional experience in one or more of the following IT disciplines: business analysis, testing, or systems development AND two (2) or more years of professional experience as a Software Analyst or Software Developer.
Demonstrated experience in software development processes eliciting user requirements, analyzing and formally documenting business needs, processes and workflows, and using defined formats for functional use cases and business rules.
Demonstrated experience reviewing and preparing documentation including internal technical documents, system diagrams, use cases, preparing test cases, and user documentation and manuals.
Demonstrated experience in proficiently translating complex technical issues into readily understood concepts for staff, management, and the public.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
Three (3) or more years of Software Testing.
One (1) or more years of experience using SQL Management Studio or equivalent.
One (1) or more years of software training experience.
Demonstrated experience working with Agile, or other iterative development methodology development methodologies.
Professional certification in software testing or business analysis.
Demonstrated experience with Lean practices.
