Coal Facility Operator
The Coal System Operator will be responsible for safely performing the basic tasks required to operate the coal handling system, operate industrial mobile equipment, and perform general maintenance on equipment and facilities at a coal-fired power plant in Asbury, MO. The Coal Facility Operator will report directly to the Operations Team Leader / Operations Manager.
Operate conveyor systems to transport coal in accordance with applicable safety practices
Operate industrial mobile equipment as required
Work individually and as a team
Complete daily safety inspection of equipment and facilities to ensure safe operations
Perform routine clean-up, housekeeping, and maintenance of facilities, equipment and coal handling system
Perform other tasks as instructed
Must be willing to work any shift, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
High School or GED + 2-5 years of experience preferred but not required
Experience in operation of dozers, front-end loaders, excavators, and other heavy equipment
Ability to read, write, and understand English, follow written and/or verbal instruction, and possess basic math and computer skills
Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules Physical Requirements Must have the ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position:
Work in an environment containing coal dust, hazardous noise, confined space, and in hot or cold environments

Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists with and performs pigging operations at various checkpoints on pipeline
Assists with and maintains dehydration systems on the pipeline
Monitors and assists with compressor stations operations
Assists with and monitors various flow control equipment
Performs preventative pipeline facility maintenance
Assists with troubleshooting of related subsystems, including startups, shut-downs and combustion control issues
Assists with and operates meter stations, pipeline facilities, corrosion control and right-of-way maintenance as necessary

Purpose Perform work related to gas and/or liquids pipeline system operations.
Scope of Duties and Responsibilities
Perform pipeline operations and maintenance activities on pipeline systems including compressor stations, gas storages, dehydration facilities, pumping facilities, measurement facilities, and related equipment which may include, but is not limited to:
Startup and shutdown
Locating and marking lines
Monitoring cathodic protection/basic pipe coatings
Leakage survey/patrolling pipelines
Monitor usage and/or replace lubricants, fluids, inhibitors, chemicals, etc., as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Exchange information regarding pipeline operations, maintenance, measurement, and other activities with public/governmental officials, employees, contractors, customers, producers, and land owners.
Calculate, compile, and/or prepare information and reports including, but not limited to:
Gas/liquid flow and quality
Maintenance and/or repair logs
Appropriate regulatory requirements
Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience operating and maintaining pipeline systems and related equipment utilized in natural gas and liquids gathering and transmission systems.
Experience in various field functions including measurement, cathodic protection, and compressor/pump station operations.
Experience maintenance and repair of equipment.
Experience and training related to:
Company and governmental operating/safety procedures and environmental regulations
Characteristics of natural gas and gas liquids
Pigging pipelines, blowing drips, gauging tanks, and collecting liquids
Ability to establish priorities and complete work assignments with limited supervision.
Experience in patrolling pipelines, performing leakage surveys, and locating/marking lines.
Experience in working with valves and dehydration equipment, scrubbers, and separators.
Knowledge of cathodic protection/corrosion control activities.
Application of basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Application of formulas to estimate or calculate flow rates and volumes.
Ability to use tools and equipment including computers and related software.
Experience reading and interpreting maps, drawings, plats, atlas pages, manuals, policies, procedures, dials, and gauges.

Driver / Owner Operator - Pipeline Stringing
Drivers and Owner Operators needed for pipeline stringing with steerable pole trailers hauling long loads on major pipeline projects. Primarily in Texas and surrounding states but some work in the South, Rocky Mountains and Marcellus. This is project work not individual loads.
