The Joiner performs all repairs, installations and remodeling of rental housing units and associated equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts shaping or cutting of materials to specified measurements using basic hand tools;
Assists with the installation of insulation and basic paneling to ceilings and walls;
Study and interpret specifications in blueprint, sketches or building plans to determine dimensions and types of materials required for remodel and repair of temporary housing units;
Preps and installs mineral wool insulation and materials to meet A60 fire protection;
Preps and install standard fiberglass insulation materials;
Install and repair all steel products in the rental fleet including metal duct work, hard core and soft core complete wall Panel systems and "B" and "C" class ceiling systems;
Installs studs, paneling, FRP paneling, joiner doors, and moldings;
Fit and install all floor installation aspects including leveling, installing, repairing Azrock, Dex-O-Tex, Tarkett
Install A60, H60 exterior and "B" class interior doors;
Installs, repairs and refurbishes all "low fire load" interior furnishings such as bunks, desks, cabinets in rental fleet.
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of eighteen months related experience
Require hand tool experience with equipment of the trade.
Require metal duct work fabrication skills.
Experience in fire retardeant insulation and applications.
Must have a valid local driver's license with clean driving record

The Frame Joiner is responsible for the joining and assembly of wall décor and custom frames. This position works in a team environment to accomplish the common goal of producing and assembling wall décor and custom frames for distribution. Employees will be trained in multiple disciplines including but not limited to: identifying various types of frame molding, accurate joining of frame molding, assembling and joining of frames, and production of wall décor and custom frames. This position is responsible for using a variety of tools to prepare a surface for coating, applying coating and quality certification of TGP metal door and frame systems surfaces. The Powder Coat Processor must plan out the job to assure complete and proper surface preparation is performed, coating coverage, thickness and cure designated by the manufacture specifications and according to standard practices.
Ensures that items are properly and safely hung.
Ensures project pre-finishing and finishing documentation is properly recorded and maintained.
Identifies characteristics of surfaces to be coated and ensures proper preparation for application of coating.
Understands general pre-prep operation, includes viewing product for defects before entering the coating booth.
Ensures proper operation, maintenance and record keeping of the 5 stage pre-finishing system.
Applies coatings in accordance with manufacturer Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and ensures proper cure time and temperature are achieved.
Performs quality certification testing and records results on corresponding load-bar routing traveler.
Prepares parts for rework to correct coating defect.
Ensures proper operation and maintenance of the cure ovens.
Sets rigging and scaffolding, and operates lifts and small cranes as needed to perform work.
Operates a variety of power and hand tools and equipment, including applicators, sandblasting and pressure washing equipment.

Plant Manager - Top Coat
Praxair Surface Technologies (PST), a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc., a Fortune 300 company that supplies atmospheric, process, specialty gases, high-performance coatings, and related services & technologies is seeking a Plant Manager for our Indianapolis, IN facility.
The Plant Manager is responsible for all manufacturing and production related operations. This individual plans, organizes, leads and controls the plant to achieve established strategic and tactical goals.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the business environment
Develops input on the strategic plan for the business
Implements strategic and tactical plans for the plant operation
Assists in preparing an annual business plan with primary focus on financial performance, specific objectives, contingency plans and resource requirements
Determines causes for excessive departure from plan and initiates corrective action as well as assists in developing plans to achieve short and long-term goals for the business and the Product Line teams
Monitors production costs
Develops plans for the elimination of non-value adding costs and aggressively pursues continuous process improvement through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Takes appropriate actions to reduce costs and remains accountable for meeting business safety plans and expectations
Develops appropriate plans and procedures in support of business safety strategies and policies and promotes safety practices throughout the organization
Ensures site alignment with corporate personnel, business integrity, and other enterprise-wide policies
Monitors production processes to ensure that the Quality Assurance functions, Job Instructions, and shop practices are maintained at their highest level of capability to minimize product liability risks
Assesses rework levels; ensures that process capability problems are identified and resolved; and, evaluates customer complaint trends to determine resources necessary to meet customer needs

This position reports to the business General Manager
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field required
7 years of Operations experience required
5 years of Management experience with profit and loss responsibility
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer proficiency (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases, etc.)
Thermal Spray Coatings industry experience is a plus
Aviation/Aerospace industry knowledge a plus
PST is a supplier which abides by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As such, persons considered for this position must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a U.S. person under relevant ITAR regulations
