Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs coating operations including, but not limited to, dry film lube, cetyl alcohol lube, dye ID, etc.
Reads, understands and uses technical documents, including, but not limited to, blueprints, work instructions, job routers, etc. to ensure that parts conform to all applicable requirements.
Operates all coating equipment, including, but not limited to spray equipment, bake ovens, lube tanks, etc. Troubleshoots problems and determines action to be taken.
Operates electric or manual pumps in the removal of chemicals/paints from paint and/or lube tanks when necessary.
Required to observe all safety rules including, wearing of safety equipment for the handling and usage of paints and chemicals.

Ensures product quality according to company and/or industry standards and practices.

to work overtime to meet customers’ needs. Finishers must have proven
experience and success spray finishing, coating and or painting parts. They msut
be able to process parts to be coated through the oven, including initial bake
out, baking of primer, and finish coat. They are able to perform first article
inspections and make adjustments when necessary to conform to MMI part
Finishers work either at our Admiral or Fulton Assembly Facilities where
components are produced in a climate-controlled facility. The first shift runs
from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday with a 30-minute lunch at noon
and two paid breaks. McElroy’s Admiral Facility houses a fitness facility
that is free to employees, and open 12 hours a day.

To prove ablative, plastic and bonding fabrication and assembly tools, components, materials, methods and techniques for fabricating and assembling production and prototype components. Applies carbon fiber material in the fabrication of composite structures.
Sets up, plans and proves the sequence of operations, on injection molding machines and related controls. Assures proper installation of molds, instructs operators, checks initial parts and assures continued quality of production.
