Ensure that products are coated in a sanitary and safe manner.
Essential Duties – Order does not necessarily indicate duty importance.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
Receive each product that has been prepared for coating by loading and unloading tablets into clean plastic buckets while ensuring that they are labeled, weighed, and recorded. Program heat exhaust and spray system as required.
Undertake cleaning procedures as directed for that batch. Full clean – applies to all equipment used to manufacture dietary supplements. Remove all trash, waste, buckets and pallets used in previous production batch from the room. Clean and sanitize all equipment, floors and walls. Light clean – applies to production equipment only.
Assemble coating solutions by following mixing instructions and amounts as specified on the batch record with the highest attention to cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Reports to Production Supervisor.
May be a supervisory role.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of work experience.
Must have moderate math skills.

Roll spiral using spiral machine when needed
Pull and cut copper wire as specified on drawings
Wash, inspect, and sort returned parts, tap and repair as needed. Return to stock shelf
Maintain parts washer, ensuring adequate cleaning solution levels and proper disposal of unused solutions
Using rod chomper, cut smooth round steel to properly measured lengths. Using ring roller machine, roll to correct diameter, weld and stock ring rack
Clean and lubricate equipment in shop area
Cut PVC pipe with cold saw as specified by drawing; bundle and label by job number and mold. Weld PVC rings
Box up material and transfer to production area

JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE
Position Summary & Basic Function
Materion offers specialty processing of strip metals through our unique leveling. These capabilities remove residual stresses and produce exceptionally flat tolerances, even with high strength composites and specialty alloys.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Processor in the Leveling Department is key in assisting with meeting the department's goals by performing machine set-up, maintaining quality standards, meeting daily production targets, and troubleshooting equipment when required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Material Processor is responsible for coil handling which involves removing coils from skids, loading coals to the payoff, and measuring gauge and width if the material with measuring devices
This position sets up the designated inspection machine including interpreting process sheets, setting machine parameters, and using lubrication and/or wipers
This position is also responsible for operating the machine while adhering to quality parameters and in-process checks
This role also makes mechanical adjustments as needed and notifying maintenance as required
Performs data entry into the SAP software system
Interprets blueprints as needed
Maintains a clean work area
Operates lifting devices as trained by Materion Safety

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Machine parts which have multiple features.
- Operate a variety of machine types or multiple non-complex machines at a time.
- Maintain an existing process which would include but not limited to: offset machine tools, change tooling as required, load material.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure that product quality and specifications are achieved.
