Our North American division is seeking to add a talented Production Superintendent to our team. The purpose of this role is to lead and provide direction for the execution of plans for the Finishing and Cold Mill department. This position will ensure that production runs with the task of maximizing productivity and quality; engage the team to drive a continuous improvement culture by utilizing the Aleris Operating System (AOS) to eliminate waste, overburden and variability in manufacturing processes; act as a role model for safety by demonstrating behaviors that align with the Aleris safety principles and hold the team accountable for results; and provides leadership, direction, coaching and development to motivate and sustain high levels of employee performance.
Health, Safety & Environmental• Leverage the Aleris Safety System and Safety Principles to create a zero injury culture.• Implement and support processes that reveal safety hazards, and develop sustainable corrective actions.• Ensure daily safety crew briefings are held by the supervisors on each shift.• Ensure that company policies and procedures are being executed by his/her team in order to ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations.• Ensure the team is being retrained on the relevant safety procedures in accordance with the HSE Department's schedule.• Investigate and document safety related incidents in the assigned area, and report out on incidents.
Operations• Ensure that the daily production goals for throughput, quality, target date and cost are being achieved by his or her team.• Ensure that a safe job execution has priority over a quick job execution.• Lead capacity planning and resource allocation for short and medium term production demands.• Ensure the availability of materials needed to complete production requirements.• Conduct and participates in Safety and Production Meetings.• Ensures that quality requirements, sample taking, documentation and record keeping are being executed by his/her team.• Ensure deviations from the standard process are effectively communicated to the relevant people/functions.• Schedule layered process audits (LPAs) to improve quality, reduce scrap and rework and reduced internal and external customer rejections.• Ensure communication across shifts and with maintenance and engineering occurs regarding production concerns, overtime, manning, status of work assignments or any other item that may impact production.• Working with department manager, develop yearly operations plan for the assigned area.
Continuous Improvement• Engage with his/her team to develop and implement standard work.• Engage his/her team to drive a continuous improvement culture by utilizing AOS to eliminate waste, overburden and variability in manufacturing processes.• Lead and/or actively participates in productivity, safety and quality improvement projects.• Develop solutions for process improvement, cost reduction and yield improvement.

- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment required or any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the required knowledge and skills.• At least 5+ years related work experience with leadership responsibility.• Has the ability to understand the manufacturing process and technical knowledge to ensure product quality and flow.• Has the ability to understand how activities impact cash conversion, EBITDA and other key financial metrics.• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety policies and procedures, HR policies, standard work documents, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, charts etc.• Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.• Has the ability to problem solving, analyze and apply continuous improvement methodology to work processes.

Cold Heading Operator
Set up and operate cold header machines and auxiliary equipment to produce high quality fasteners while meeting on-time delivery, productivity, safety, quality, and housekeeping metrics.
1.Set-up cold header machines and auxiliary equipment (including wire drawers, wire welders, and grinders) per drawings and specifications.
2.Operate cold header machines and auxiliary equipment.
3.Perform daily maintenance on cold header machines and auxiliary equipment.
4.Perform quality checks and document (where applicable), using simple gages, precision measuring devices and visual inspection.
5.Perform safety checks to ensure safety devices are on and in working order (guarding and all safety equipment). Use proper Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
6.Manually handle parts from work-in-process containers to shipping containers. Move containers as required using pallet jacks and/or fork trucks.
7.Prepare and maintain accurate records (route sheets and count sheets).
8.Clean equipment and keep work area neat and orderly.
9.Participate as a Trainer when necessary.
10. To work in any other area of the plant by the request of your supervisor.
Usual manufacturing environment with regular exposures to noise and oils.. Moderate to high physical activity, involving routine lifting and pulling. Intermittent cold and hot temperatures.
Basic reading/writing skills and math including fractions and decimals is required. Mechanical ability and knowledge of tools and machinery is required. Knowledge of multi-die (boltmaking) and 1 die two blow machinery is not required, but strongly preferred.
Knowledge of the use of measuring devices, blueprints, and drawing is required. Ability to lift/pull up to fifty (50) pounds.

Cold Form/Heading Operator B Two-Blow Hdr
This heading machine operator position involves learning to perform the operation and basic set-ups of manufacturing equipment under appropriate supervision. (HiTech, Miniature, Formax, Waterbury) The operator will be responsible for learning the skills necessary to maintain production requirements and quality standards.
Follow all safety rules.
Maintain clean, orderly work area
Operate machinery as needed, which will include emptying pans, inspecting/gaging parts, making minor mechanical adjustments.
Where applicable, learn to perform minor machine set-ups; including, but not limited to, tooling changes and first piece inspection.

This position is located at the Henderson Mill site off of CO-9 between Kremmling, CO and Silverthorne, CO. This is a rural, alpine area approximately 2 hours from the Denver metropolitan area. The mill is at an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet. In the winter the average high temperature is 28 degrees and the average low is 0 degrees. In the summer the average high temperature is 75 degrees and the average low is 40 degrees. The average snowfall in Summit/Grand counties is in excess of 250 inches per year.
Employee who under direct supervision safely performs duties related to the production of copper and/or molybdenum concentrates in the Mill.
Support and complete duties within the Mill which could include tasks within the following areas: fine crushing plant, COB, ball mill, roughers, cleaners, flotation cells, moly plant, copper moly thickeners, tailing thickeners, etc.
May assist with or be responsible for taking process readings and making any necessary process changes

Operator II (Mill) – Mount Vernon, IN
This is a full-time, hourly level position.
The plant processes wheat into flour and feed products. The process operates continuously and is staffed seven days per week, twenty-four hours per day.
Entry level/training position leading to mill operator I (candidate must be willing and able to advance within the milling department)

We are looking for experienced Cold Header Set-up Operators.
Experience in setup and running Multi-Die Progressive Cold Headers. Experience with National Machinery Multi-Die header .500 up to 1250 with nut former transfers, bolt maker transfer both single opening/closing timing as well as individual open/closing timing, and universal transfers.
Responsible for the manufacturing of precision cold headed components. Responsible for satisfying customers by meeting specifications and delivery requirements while pursuing continual improvement and achievement of established Company goals.
