New England Dairy Company looking for a Warehouse Order Selector / Loader.
Order selectors utilize either hand-held computers or pick to light systems to fulfill customer orders. This position is also responsible for the safe and efficient loading of products into our trailers.
The process starts by transferring product onto a conveyor that transfers the product to platform where the product is loaded onto dollies or floor loaded onto trailers that are then taken to our customers. Repeated lifting, pushing and pulling of greater than 50 pounds is common practice for this position.
Customer orders are fulfilled all days of the week except Sunday. We offer hands-on-training for the Truck Loader position, which takes about 2-3 weeks to complete for you to be considered fully trained.
- A self-starter that is accountable and dependable
- Able to adapt to a variety of work and afternoon / evening schedules
- Able to handle cases and stacks of milk for 8- to 10-hour shifts
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Familiar or desire to learn material handling equipment including reach truck, forklift, walk behind and riding pallet jacks

Properly and safely load/unload vehicles onto/off railcars for transport. This process requires the use of an adjustable loading ramp, setting up and taking down bridge plates (45lbs) at the railcar junctions, securing the vehicles for transportation using a securing device (chocks) or removing the securing device for unloading vehicles. We are looking to fill multiple positions on 1st shift with one crew starting at 6:20 am and the other crew starting at 6:50 am.

Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations, operating procedures and regulations;
Record operating data such as products and quantities pumped, gauge readings, and operating times, manually or using computers.
Observe positions of tank cars in accordance with loading racks and connect loading arms and or hoses into the correct positions at the appropriate times associated with the proper products.
Operate essential loading and unloading equipment, hoists, and other specialized material handling equipment such as railroad tank car and truck loading and unloading equipment.
Verify tank car or truckload numbers to ensure transport placement accuracy based on written or verbal instructions.
Operate industrial trucks, tractors, loaders and other equipment to transport materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading areas, and to store and retrieve materials in storage areas and warehouses.

Document pre-inspection of rail/truck tanks including management notification of findings;
Identify rail/truck tanks that cannot be loaded and will require repairs;
