The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals by selling specialty paper, inks, wide format printers and other related items. This is an outbound sales position focused on generating sales from new prospects and existing customers. The majority of this job will be done over the phone making cold and warm calls at your desk in our Rolling Meadows office. The target customer is someone in Signage, Commercial Photo, and Fine Art printing.
This job is located at our Rolling Meadows, IL office. You will spend your time offering products (specialty paper, ink, hardware, etc.) to prospects, past clients and current customers. The offering will be based on our analysis of what we believe suits their needs. Part of the job will be determining what to offer to whom. As a team we will work together to research and analyze data to create attractive offerings.
In addition to calling new & existing customers, here are some other things you may find yourself doing:
· Researching and marketing to prospective clients
· Following up via phone on recent campaigns
· Updating, organizing, and maintaining our customer database
· Reporting your sales activity
· Learning about new products that our customers may be interested in
In this role, you will spend your first 3-6 weeks working as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). This will give you rounded perspectives of who our customers are. At the end of 3-6 weeks, you should know:
· Why people buy from us
· What motivates people to do what they do
· What things interest our customers
· What is important to them when making a purchase
· Other things they may be interested in
· Other things we can offer to them
· Different markets to target

We really prefer someone with a college education. If you do not have one, we would want you to have a proven track record of success in a similar role. We also find people who have experience in sports seem to like this job.
