Sets up and operates collating and/or labeling/patching machines to produce value added enhancements to in-process work. Review specifications and set up equipment that perform forms collating from web rolls, label affixing, or window patching to printed or in-process materials specific to the customer's requirements.
Equipment operated may perform functions related to assembling and perforating signatures, stapling, gluing, folding, or cutting sheets of paper, forms, or signatures in specified sequence to form completed sets or die cut and apply labels or films to paper substrates. Perform safety inspections, document problems, and track production during operation.
General knowledge of the collating/label application machines to perform the full range of standard and specialized folds, gluing, perforating and cutting of printed materials. Thorough knowledge of the set up, operating requirements, procedures, capabilities and limitations of the collating machine to perform the full range of standard and specialized folding, collating and cutting of printed materials to complete a combined finishing product.
Ability to read and interpret written work orders or other job specifications containing collating requirements which indicate the number and sequence of webs required to complete the work and to maintain dimensional accuracy in accordance with instructions provided. Knowledge of the quality and machining requirements of various coated and uncoated types of paper stock. Skill in setting up and adjusting machines for finishing operations and to refine such adjustments for the weight, color, machinability and quality of paper stock being used and to prevent machining impressions on the printed materials.
Must be able to calculate distances, clearances, and fits in combining machines. Skill in using the full range of standard and specialized tools and devices to adjust and maintain the functional accuracy and operating conditions of the collating machines.

Schmidt Printing is seeking a Finishing Collator Operator to performing manual and machine operator tasks related to the operation of collating machines.

Read instructions from job tickets and set up folder based on instructions.
Run samples for approval by designated personnel.
Complete checklist and other paperwork for the cutter.
Direct and coordinate activities of the helper during run.
Perform preventative maintenance on the folder.
Operate or assist on other bindery equipment when workload dictates.
Demonstrate good safety attitudes and expect same from helper.
Keep immediate work area neat and orderly.
Responsible for training additional crew members as needed.
Physical demands while performing the duties of this job include the following: required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

This job requisition is for a Junior Intelligence Analyst/Collator to create operational, entity and intelligence reports from unstructured and structured sources to support data fusion, assist system analysts and operators with developing linkages with existing intelligence records and provide quality assurance and quality control.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain a minimum standard of reporting productivity as determined by the Chief, Data Fusion Cell while ensuring a personal accuracy rate above 95% at all times
Assist in the collation of raw subject data from various intelligence databases and information sources in order to provide accurate and timely reporting for use in higher level analytics
Create reports in CIDNE based on identified operation reporting
Deconflict reports in CIDNE to ensure the integrity of the data to the fullest extent possible

Hospital for Special Surgery's Rehabilitation Department is seeking a clinical Manager for our Hand and Upper Extremity Therapy Center. This position offers the opportunity for a Manager to work as a part of a team of highly experienced hand therapists and world renowned physicians. The patient population will encompass a large variety of hand, wrist and elbow diagnoses including post-surgical trauma, fractures, dislocations, tendon lacerations, Dupuytren's, arthritis, brachial plexus injuries, amputations and rheumatic conditions.
To qualify, you must be a New York State licensed Occupational or Physical Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with 7+ years of out-patient clinical expertise with an emphasis in examination and treatment of various upper extremity conditions. Experience with custom orthosis fabrication is also required. You must have prior experience in leadership and team management within an environment involving close collaboration with physicians.
