Document, coordinate, and manage new color and materials required to support production, advanced model builds, and concept car programs.
Conduct research, analyze the competitive landscape with regards to exterior paint, wheels and trim for emerging trends. This will also include maintaining a competitive exterior materials sample library.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Design, Industrial Design, Product Design or related field of study
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the job described as a Creative Designer, Automotive Designer or related position with extensive paint technology
Must have completed portfolio demonstrating design ability
Must submit portfolio along with application to be considered a viable candidate for the position
Experience in the job described as a Color and Materials Designer within the automotive industry
Experience must include: Design and development of exterior paint, wheels and trim for automotive application
