Color Guard Instructor (Bands)
The University of Nebraska at Omaha Bands is seeking a part-time Color Guard Instructor for Fall 2018. Applicants with the desire to grow and develop a comprehensive color guard program are encouraged to apply. UNO is unique in that the program does not have a football team; the regular performance season ends in late-October. The position is renewable yearly with the possibility of winter color guard activities (based on the experience, interest, and availability of the instructor).
The ideal candidate will:
Coordinate all aspects of the UNO Maverick Marching Band Color Guard including recruiting, managing equipment and uniform needs, choreographing, producing and teaching routines as required, and assisting the Director of Athletic Bands as needed and requested
Attend 2-3 rehearsals per week and all performances
Recommend new property purchases/repairs within the budget allocation
Assist with selecting student leaders for the color guard; recruit new members for the color guard; assist in logistical/creative planning for the marching band, in conjunction with the Director of the Athletic Bands
Direct/Instruct Color Guard Preseason Camp for incoming and current members of the Maverick Marching Band
Create a positive, educational, and professional experience for all students
Winter Color Guard Instructor
Position: Winter Color Guard Instructor for Windsor High School. Starting the 2017-2018 Season.
Salary range Tier 4 of Activity Salary Schedule: $1,825-$2,116 based on experience.
JOB TITLE: WINTER GUARD INSTRUCTOR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Winter Guard instructor coordinates the preparations, exercises, and activities of the school winter auxiliary unit. The instructor prepares and directs the unit for independent performance and competition.
Assist in adjudication of new student try-outs;
Designates/coordinates the students into the various subgroups (e.g. majorette, flags, rifles, sabers).
Prepares warm-up routines/practice exercises for the unit;
Choreographs, arranges, and implements Winter Guard routine(s) and as an independent unit during winter guard season.
Schedules and conducts extra rehearsals for the unit.
Schedules separate competition events as the unit transitions its status from an attachment of the marching band to an independent competition entity (e.g., "Winter Guard") during the winter season;
Establish communication with parents of winter guard students and organize their efforts in support of the unit.
Other related duties, as assigned by the Band Director to prepare students for competitions and public appearances, including parades and reviews.
Background in marching band auxiliary performance required.
Experience in the skills of the various sub groups of the auxiliary unit (e.g. flags, majorette) required.
Experience in composing and choreographing routines for the various auxiliary units required.
Experience working with school-aged students required; preferably at high school level.
Background in a drums corps or spirit organization (e.g., Concord Blue Devils, United Spirit Association) preferred.
Recruiting for winter guard at the middle and elementary schools.
Background in instruction/adjudication of a drum corps or spirit organization preferred.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: H.S. Band Director
AFTER-HOURS COMMITMENT: After-hours time required will vary with time of year maximum should be 5-8 hours per week during competitive season prior to performance, less time required during off season.
Project Coordinator - Color Graphics
Summary: ARC Document Solutions is searching for a Project Coordinator who coordinates, participates in, and performs administrative and customer or vendor services as well as hands on production and project management/installation support to the sales and operations teams. Monitors customers' project progress, including billing and contract requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Liaison between production and sales team to internal and external customers and vendors.
Assist with the development and scheduling of customer projects.
Partner with the Sales team and/or facilitate development of project bid documents.
Lead and/or participate in development of project specifications, proposals, work orders and bidder requirements to include vendor management and ability to read construction documents including blueprints, RFP's, and RFI's.

Coordinate with the production team to communicate the project status to the customer.
Independently organize and prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines.
Perform other tasks, duties, or functions as directed.
Hands on knowledge in a similar small format and/or wide format color graphics or project coordinator administrative support and communications role.
Sufficient customer relations skills to articulate technical concepts to design, advertising, marketing, and construction professionals; and, to work cooperatively with internal and external customers and vendors.
Previous hands on experience with planning and construction documents, blue prints, plans, and office procedures.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree with a major in business, marketing, design or related discipline is preferred.
One (1) to three (3) years of progressive responsibility and professional experience supporting a similar sales, print and/or project/installation management organization.

SUMMARY - Digital production of large format color posters, signs, banners and other products as well to provide support in customer service as needed for Riot Creative Imaging a Division of ARC, American Reprographics Company. The PC81/On Line color Operator is responsible for the operation of the on line color extruder, PC81 Twin Screw Extruder, operation of all quality testing equipment, the making of concentrates, set up of feed for the lines and finished product packaging and storage.
