Responsible for producing high-quality color print documents according to customer specifications. Prepares files for print, some simple layout, color correction, and operating printers such as OCE Arizona 550XT, Epson GS-6000, and Epson Sure color as well as assisting in other areas of the printing and finishing operations.
- Sets up electronic files for print.
- Performs design and color corrections when necessary utilizing RIP software.
- Sends finalized prints to appropriate printer.

- Trims completed prints as necessary.
- Inspects finished prints for defects, such as dust and smudges, and removes defects.

Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY As a member of the Quality Assurance (QA) team supporting some of the VF brands such as The North Face and JanSport, the Sr. Color Standards Analyst is responsible for working closely with the Color Manager to help support departmental initiatives. This position involves providing a high level of service to a specified category(s) for the color evaluation and approval process, identifying and evaluating processes that will create efficiencies for the Color department, and providing technical support to the Color Analysts including training and identifying educational resources and opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate on the execution of departmental projects with the Color Manager.
Partner with the Color Manager and Director to assess and create action plans based on metrics results. Assist with the collection of departmental metrics by specified calendar deadlines as needed.
Provide technical expertise to Color Analysts for day to day issues as needed.
Maintain departmental documentation and updates (e.g. SOP).
Identify and help develop resolution to problematic quality issues, processes and tools/systems.
Identify and help implement educational resources and tools for Color Analysts. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS + 5+ years of experience in Creative Management of Design and/or Development in a medium or large size company, preferably in the outdoor industry.
Bachelor's Degree in Design (Apparel), Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Color Formulator/Quality Control Technician
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to match colors and produce concentrate & liquid color samples. Develops color formulas for plastic materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operates all laboratory equipment a safe manner according to the machine's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). This may include the following: injection molding machines, spectrophotomers, ash oven, melt flow indexers, blenders/mixers, and other equipment.
- Performs color matching and quality control of samples with close or minimal supervision.
- Prepares color batch formula in the form of concentrate & liquid samples for use by laboratory and/or production in manufacturing of product.
- Compares finished matches and product with customer's sample to verify color compatibility.
- Maintains files containing color chips and formulas for each match for use as standard.
- Maintains inventory and retain systems.
- Completes required reports and clerical duties such as computer entry and filing.
