Daily tasks may be as follows:
- Provide various levels of personal care in accordance with an established Plan of Care
- Escorting/transporting to and from appointments, running errands
- Adhere to agency, HIPAA, state requirements and policies
- Perform light housekeeping, meal prep and/or assist with feeding, incontinence care
- Observe and report any safety hazards, incidents, changes in client health/behavior
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Perform other home care duties as needed and directed by supervisor.
- CNA/HHA experience w/ seniors in home care, nursing facility or hospital setting
- Required licenses or certifications: CNA
- Required experience: CNA/HHA: 6 months
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
- Obtain passing score on CNA/HHA competency exam
- Clean Criminal Background check
- 2 year proof of residency in the state of Pennsylvania or FBI fingerprints
- Fluent and proficient in written and spoken English
- Current TB skin test or Chest x-ray
- CPR certification preferred

The Children’s School for Early Development is actively recruiting for various support positions in our self-contained (SC) ABA classrooms and our Special Class in an Integrated Setting (SCIS) classrooms. Full Time/ Part Time and Substitute positions available.
Successful candidates will have the following skills: be able to work under the direction of the classroom teacher, self- initiate positive interactions with preschoolers with special needs, function successfully in a busy classroom, be a team player and work successfully with various staff members and related service providers including Occupational, Physical and Speech & Language Therapists, be an active participant in all areas of the classroom.
Experience working with young children with special needs a plus, but will train. Please see below for a more detailed description of the positions and types of classroom available.
Special Class in an Integrated Setting (SCIS) — classroom is comprised of 6 preschoolers with special needs along with typically developing peers.
Self-contained Class (SC) — classroom is comprised of 8 special needs preschoolers.
Classroom Aides — provides support to the overall classroom
1:1s — provides support for a particular child throughout the school day
Substitute aides/1:1s — per diem position, various classroom locations may be offered.
All positions have a 25hr work week. Use of a car (or access to dependable public transportation) is required.

Capitol Lakes, Madison’s premier downtown continuing care retirement community, is seeking dedicated, compassionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) for open positions in our skilled nursing facility.
CNAs are responsible for participating in delivery of person-centered, individualized, direct care for long term, respite, and rehabilitation residents. Assist residents as needed in all activities of daily living using nursing direction and the resident care plan.
Must be willing to be a productive team member and have an interest in contributing to the continuous improvement of quality resident care at Capitol Lakes.
Part-time nights (10 PM - 6:15 AM) with set schedules, with some positions being benefit eligible (0.6 FTE; 24+ hours per week).
Required Skills and
Current Wisconsin CNA certification is required. Prior experience in a long term care setting is preferred.
Positive skills in communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal relationships needed. Previous work experience which indicates successful ability to assume responsibilities within a team context also needed.
