Job Core Responsibilities
Performs straightforward set up, operation and routine maintenance of production machinery and test equipment
Uses a range of documents to perform work, such as job travelers, blueprints, schematics, models or specifications
Troubleshoots machines that are not at peak performance and finds solutions to problems
Ensures adequate stock of raw materials needed for work and performs equipment maintenance per schedules
Evaluates and verifies that production items are within tolerances and meet specifications as outlined in job documentation

All candidates must be able to work a twelve-hour swing shift schedule. The schedule swings from days to nights, and will include two weekends off each month. The hours are as follows: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM (days), and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (nights).
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Machine Operator assists in the production of polyester film in order to achieve maximum output of quality products under the direction of the Team Leader. Responsibilities include packaging, roll handling, forklift operation, housekeeping, bailing scrap, grinding scrap, thread-ups, running slitters, labeling, preparing cores, and process/quality checks.

Sand down rough areas and ensure that all other specifications are met.
Ensure that shaft dimensions are correct and that the prop fits tightly.
Stand product number on shaft's end. Record finalized product and place on cart or pallet with appropriate paper work.
Maintains machines by performing basic lubrications and grinding personal tools.

The Machine Operator I operates assigned stations and all other associated work including preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, making minor adjustments to maintain greatest operational efficiency, assist other mechanics, etc.
Position Shift and Schedule:The Warehouse Worker position is located in our Vernon, CA facility. This is a full time permanent position. Availability to work any shift. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
