Learn and retain for instant recall and reference, a considerable body of knowledge related to EAP.
In a minimum of time and without error, controllers must be able to copy, decode, validate, process and relay the message to appropriate personnel and complete checklist actions in response to any tasking received from HHQ. Establishes priority of actions based on a variety of situations, and uses judgment to resolve multiple tasking received simultaneously. Controls movement and status of the alert force, and coordinates alert force requirements with key base agencies such as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) tower, Central Security Control (CSC), Maintenance Operations Center (MOC), and Fire Department.
Serves as the key point of contact on all matters concerning crews, aircraft, the alert facility, Crisis Action Team (CAT), and the Command Post. Provides a variety of briefings to the CAT and the alert force. Responds to numerous quick response situations initiating Quick Reaction Checklists (QRCs). Executes and supports all aspects of Tanker Strategic Aircraft Reconstitution Team (TSART) procedures.
Utilizes a variety of communications security (COMSEC) documents in accomplishing the mission. Utilizes numerous voice and record communications systems as the primary link between the Wing Commander, CAT and HHQ to accomplish command and control duties and responsibilities. Advises the commander of recommended command and control actions during operational events. Accomplishes recall of the CAT and wing personnel as directed by the commander or HHQ.
Gathers information for Operational Reporting (OPREP) regarding significant events or incidents involving personnel and wing assets that require reporting to HHQ, Contingency Operations, significant peacetime events, and state emergency situations. Advises the commander on reporting requirements.
Categorizes events to determine the level of notification required. Prepares, determines classification and precedence, numbers, records, and releases reports via voice and record copy. Evaluates and interprets situations which would require multiple reports to be submitted on events that are on going.
Reviews and updates information in required MAJCOM databases to reflect status of aircraft and crews. Convenes voice reporting conferences and determines who should be included in said conferences. Responsible for submission of OPREP reports for wing agencies and tenant units. Incumbents maintain certification in this area.
Dictates which methodology and systems are to be used in tracking diverse aircraft mission movement. Selects and submits numerous mission movement reports in support of wing and HHQ tasking.
Data provided by the controller must be properly formatted and error free to interface with HHQ flight management systems. Interprets and coordinates mission changes with on base and HHQ. Evaluates and interprets mission changes which would require multiple reports to be submitted.
Coordinates high priority missions with the CAT and HHQ. Coordinates on base support for wing and transient aircraft as a result of mission movement reports. Provides information to aircrews concerning clearances to operate aircraft, weather and field conditions, divert airfield status, and pertinent operating and procedural instructions.
Controls the movement of aircraft on the unit's ramp. Alerts aircrews to meet mission requirements in response to HHQ tasking. Receives arrival and departure messages making queries concerning overdue aircraft and notifying the appropriate authorities.
Monitors primary crash phone system, and activates and transmits emergency information on secondary crash circuits as required. Incumbents maintain certification in this area.
Submits flight plans and coordinates changes to FAA via Aeronautical Information System (AIS) or voice systems to support flying (mission) operations. Must have extensive knowledge concerning both domestic and international flight planning.
Prior to submission of flight data, will review and evaluate proposed flight plan for technical accuracy and compliance with appropriate directives. Provide a variety of briefings to aircrews concerning safety of flight issues such as Notice to Airmen (NOTAMS), airfield advisories, weather, etc.

AECOM is actively seeking a Global Command and Control System – Maritime (GCCS-M) Technician to provide fleet technical and engineering support services to Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC). The candidate will provide technical assistance and/or repair/restoration of urgent mission degrading Casualty Reports (CASREPs) or other complex technical problems affecting GCCS-M and CANES systems/equipment aboard US Navy surface ships beyond the capability of ship’s force or intermediate maintenance activities (IMAs) ability to diagnose and correct. Work with Customer, Program Manager, Chief Engineer and Systems Engineering lead to architect the next generation of ballistic missile systems utilizing expertise in Weapon Systems Command and Control (WSC2).
Work with systems leads to develop the WSC2 architecture definition, structure, and technical performance measures
Provide leadership and direction on the development of the WSC2 system, subsystem performance budgets and allocations
Organizes and helps conduct critical trades, including affordability, for the development, production and sustainment of the WSC2 architecture
Leads WSC2 requirements, verification and validation activities
Communicates the output of critical trade studies, and design decisions. With the MBSE system, develops and presents the SRR, CCTIM, PDR and CDR for the WSC2 System Develops and manages the program risk for the WSC2 system
Recent experience in working with the DOD, preferably with the Air Force regarding the implementation of weapons system architecture for a complex system
Recent experience in working with the DOD, preferably with the Air Force on operational command and control and related development activities
Experience with all aspects of command and control architectures including networks and communication, particularly in a cyber-secure environment
Experience with architecting a C2 system with nuclear surety provisions would be beneficial
Experience with system architecture development, topology and structure. Must have demonstrated ability to lead and conduct system trade studies and assessments.
Experience with Model Based System Engineering is beneficial as this is a key element of the program. Working knowledge of SysML/UML is important.
Experience leading teams of diverse skill sets to integrate major subsystems into system design. This will include shaping and articulating the architecture vision and collaborating with customers and key stakeholders in molding the vision.
Experience as a technical leader with authority to approve and implement changes to the technical design baseline

NOC Command & Control Engineer
Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with company/customer system architecture standards.
1.Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and designs computer systems to process data.
2.Analyzes systems and procedures to refine their formulation and converts them to programmable formats.
3.Codes applications and tests to software requirements.
4.Analyzes detail systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and reliability characteristics.
5.Writes or updates software specifications.
6.Records all inputs and outputs of systems, including file sizes, data bank requirements, variability of information and appropriate statistical measures such as frequency, volume, peaking, etc.
7.Prepares and updates documentation for new or existing systems.
8.Troubleshoots and provides technical support and solutions to users.
9.Monitors system effectiveness in satisfying user needs.
10. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
11. Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
2-5 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.

Aviation Command And Control SME
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft and update Special Use Airspace proposals in support of aviation activities conducted in the R-2501 range complex.
- Manage and supervise long term airspace initiatives in support of Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center.
- Serve as resident Subject Matter Expert for all airspace matters.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for Aviation Training
- Report to the Active Duty Operations Officer on the planning, suitability of assets, milestones, and readiness of the proposed Air Assets for each aviation event
- Assist all tenant organizations in the integration of Air Assets into the various exercises
- Assist the MAG and Operations staff in the execution of the ITX Daily Airflow
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Joint Air Operations
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Attendance at Career-Level School, such as Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School, or equivalent required.
- Military Air Traffic Control Experience; three tours of duty minimum.
- Military Aviator with Joint Air Operations CAOC experience is acceptable substitute for ATC experience.
- Required to understand complexity of military air operations, negotiating on an equal level of experience with Squadron Operations Officers in order to lead planning and conduct daily exercise air operations.
