Associate Composer Sound Designer
The Associate Composer/Sound Designer works to translate existing slot machine game sounds and music, in their entirety for all platforms, while maintaining the best possible quality, playability, and "spirit" of the game. With minimal guidance from designers, utilize the latest software tools to provide music, sound effects and voice recording to our games.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist sound department with creating sounds and music for original IP slot machines.
Review the game with programmers to determine that all assets are being used correctly.
Understanding the original slot machine, the class of slot it belongs to, and its play type (GPlus, MoneyBurst, etc)
Understanding the platform each slot machine will be converted to, and the inherent technical and quality issues that will need to be dealt with during the conversion process for that platform (Unity; Flash; Mobile)
Ensuring that each Slot Machine is properly and completely delivered to Scientific Games in a usable format
Ensuring that each Slot Machine is delivered with proper reference materials for use of sounds (movies or playable versions of the Slot)
Contacting SG entities to acquire any missing assets
If it is a class of slot machine previously unconverted, the Sound Designer will be responsible for providing documentation on conversion methodology, how the assets will be implemented by Programming, and which assets will be usable in future conversions
Working with Programming to ensure that converted assets are ideal for:
working properly and efficiently on the platform for which Slot is being converted
not requiring an unusually long conversion process
meeting Scientific Games quality standards, and/or maintaining the "Spirit" of the original WMS slot game
Working with Programming to create an efficient use of converted assets, particularly when assets are reused in multiple slot machines.
Testing and implementation of sound and music assets

Birthcare Assistant - Part Time
The purpose of the BirthCare Assistant is to assist the nursing and medical staff with day-to-day operations of the BirthCare Center. They market the BirthCare Center through their efficiency, positive communication, and contribution to the family-centered care experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Is aware of hospital and department compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse. Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of department or hospital administrative staff.
Purposefully conducts all aspects of the job in an ethical manner in support of the hospital's commitment to ethical behavior in all areas of personal and professional activity.
Answers the phone promptly and courteously.

Assures that emergency equipment (oxygen, PPE, suction, IV supplies, and resuscitation equipment) is present and in working order for all patient rooms.
Assembles the equipment needed for a birth in the LDRP.
Practices sterile technique in setting up the delivery carts.
Serves as backup personnel for low risk deliveries.
-Completes baby ID band information.
-Helps position the patient for birth.
-Pages personnel needed to attend the delivery.
-Notes times of significant events to aid the RN in documentation.
Follows guidelines for handling blood and body fluids when disassembling the delivery cart.

BirthCare Center Floor Supplies and Equipment
Is responsible for stocking and rotating unit supplies.
Checks supplies for outdates.
Checks the LDRP rooms daily, including refrigerator temps, and maintains a clean, tidy environment for the family.
Rotates large equipment (fetal monitors, LDRP beds, infant warmer arms) from room to room as part of setting up birthing rooms for delivery and transforming them to postpartum care.
Performs control testing on the Point of Care testing equipment.
Assists nursing staff in observation and care of the infants in the newborn nursery.
Performs basic infant care including feeding, diaper changes,
Assists in the collection of specimens.
Assists with circumcisions under the supervision of the nursery RN.
Transports infants to the main hospital for tests, and to the patient's rooms.
Is responsible for maintaining infant security per unit policy, including participating in weekly door checks and periodic safety drills.
