POSITION OVERVIEW Develops, builds, modifies and repairs molds and dies used in the manufacturing and support processes.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Plans, fabricates and constructs tooling such as wax injection molds, casting part holding fixtures and gauges that are used in wax injection, cutting, waterjet, grinding, CMM and other various pre and post cast operations from ferrous or non-ferrous metals and materials utilizing various types of precision machine shop equipment and hand tools with little or no supervision.
Interprets casting blueprints, castings and various part dimensions to allow for proper construction of tooling, fixtures and gauges.
Plans and carries out the repair or modifications of molds and tooling including the most delicate and complex.
Performs all set-ups of machine shop equipment and molds utilizing their knowledge of machine shop practices and procedures
Ability to disassemble and repair re-assemble wax injection molds that are very complex
Generates Vertical Machining Center CNC cutter paths for various tools to design intent.
Estimates construction and repair time for various tooling work
Completes the tool build to the design intent. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USED All types of precision machine shop equipment, including wire EDM and Optical Comparator. Includes CNC programming.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
(10%) Plans construction procedures and methods, selecting the proper materials.
(5%) Makes allowances for shrinkage during the heat-treating of tools and metal flow in dies.
(85%) Builds die from complex set of blueprints and builds jigs and fixtures from sketches, part drawings or verbal instructions.
(20%) Disassembles and reassembles all types of progressive dies and die cast molds for routine maintenance or repairs.

Physical Demands STANDING: Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile bricks with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36 and 48.
WALKING: Walking is generally in short distances for short durations.
Delivery personnel must travel between the store and the delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customers location.
SITTING: Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
LIFTING: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3 x 1.5. Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacking onto shelves up to 72 high.
CARRYING: Large cans , weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves. Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried form the storage room to the front of the store. Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray.
During delivery, carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties.
DRIVING: Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area. A team member may make several deliveries per shift.
PUSHING: Pushing is performed to move trays which are placed on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24-30 and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push. Trays may also be pulled.
CLIMBING: Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
During delivery of product, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.
STOOPING/BENDING: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station. Duration of this position is approximately 40-45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter when stocking ingredients.
CROUCHING/SQUATTING: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
REACHING: Reaching is performed continuously; up, down, and forward. Workers reach above 72 occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves. Workers reaching down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes. Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.
HAND TASKS: Eye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day. Frequently activities require use of one or both hands. Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists. Workers must manipulate a pizza peel when removing a pizza from an the oven., and when using the rolling cutter. Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes. Team members must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.

Description: POSITION SUMMARY: The Tool & Die associate is a critical individual within Jacobs Vehicle Systems. Mill Operator Responsible for processing raw materials into a work in process material for further processing in down stream departments. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet all production standards.
Understanding and achievement of all quality requirements specified in HPN’s (Hygenic Product Number).
Correct or notify lead/supervisor of any quality problems with material.
Follow all processing specifications outlined in the BOP (basic operating procedure).
Maintain a clean work environment using the 5S cleaning form.
Weigh all necessary ingredients utilizing the batch weigh system or formula card.
Mix ingredients per BOP on the mill or in the Banbury.
Operate 50 & 60 inch mills.
Operate rubber cutter and vacuhoist in a safe manner.
Operate Banbury and monitor internal mixing.
Operate calendar strip off machine for natural rubber WIP.
Operate strip off tanks for synthetic rubber WIP.
Communicate with other operators from other shifts. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Word Processing Software, Master Control, and BPCS.
Tow motor and pallet truckcertification.
Ability to lift up toand /or move up to 60 pounds.
