Title Artist -Nuke Compositor
The Walt Disney Studios encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, home entertainment releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings. Disney Digital Services Title Graphics offers creative motion graphics and typography for original title creation on feature films, home video, TV and trailers, as well as international localization of domestic title work. Summary of the role Motion graphics compositing of titles for various production formats.
Set-up composites for multiple formats and versions
Integrate all layers or elements of a shot (pulling keys, tracking, color correction, CG integration, etc.)
Work intimately with other compositors, CGI and Titles departments to identify best technical and creative means for producing the motion graphic elements
Identify, report problems and issues to department manager and colleagues
Review final elements with team and client
Absorb creative direction/notes and quickly apply changes
Adhere to established department procedures, quality assurance standards and workflows
Receive and send vendor files and write follow-up reports
Become process owner of new workflows and document SOPs
Basic Qualifications :
A solid understanding of color correction tools and techniques
Experience working with cineon log files, exr, and linear sRGB files
Experience generating 3D stereo images
Sharp technical and analytical skills (can break down a job, organize it and set it up for efficient productions, problem solve)
Strong organizational and time management skills. Able to work on multiple deadlines at once.
Ability to adhere to established workflow practices
Must have a meticulous eye for detail
Must be a pro-active learner
Strong Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects skills. If unfamiliar with After Effects, must be willing to learn it
Comfortable with UNIX commands
This position is covered by the IATSE – Local 800. If not currently a member, you will be required to join the Art Directors Guild after the first 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years’ experience compositing with Nuke + 2+ years’ experience in motion graphics compositing for features, TV or commercials is ideal

Our Nuke Compositing team works collaboratively with our Producers on a variety of traditional and complex visual effects work: set extension, cg integration, matte painting, keying, rig removal, etc.
We're looking for candidates who are passionate about post-production with a great attitude and an excitement for continued learning. Applicants should have advanced Nuke experience and be able to employ a variety of techniques to creatively solve problems including use of Nuke’s 3D system, 2.5d projections, camera tracking, and multi-pass compositing.
We require a minimum of 2 years experience compositing in a photo-real environment for this position. Experience in scripting, gizmo creation, and lighting are considered a plus.
All candidates are required to take and pass our compositing test.

Experience more at www.jauntvr.com. The Role: The Stereo VR Compositor is responsible for stitching recordings and removing artifacts from panoramic footage shot on a variety of different camera rigs, such as OZO, Jaunt ONE, GoPro Cube, etc.
The Compositor will work with Production partners and an internal team to deliver high quality shots for our interactive and live-action experiences. The Stereo VR Compositor will take a shot through it's entire lifecycle, which could include matchmove, roto, stabilization, touch-up, and final composite. In some cases, 3D work might be required (e.g., smoke, action graphics).
Stitch and blend live-action images. Adjust alignment, modulate depth, and balance color in a stereoscopic composite. Remove visual artifacts, sharpen footage, and remove noise from imagery.
Prepare and adjust elements, either by extracting or rotoscoping. Perform basic paint work to replace/remove objects (e.g., tripod) from shots. Adjust and improve depth and convergence.
Seamlessly integrate live action, miniature, and CGI elements. Color correct and grade. Create graphic elements for stereoscopic 360.
Follow production methodologies and develop creative approaches to problem-solving. Create training materials to document best practices and teach partners about 360 stereo VR.
Accredited Post-Secondary Artistic Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years live action Compositing experience on feature films, television, or high end commercial work. Minimum 1 year Stereoscopic or Stereo Conversion work preferred. Professional knowledge of tools, techniques, and expectations of a compositing pipeline.
Knowledge of Nuke/CARA_VR/Ocula and PTGui required. Knowledge of Stereo Paint and Roto workflows required. Knowledge of 2D and 3D tracking of spherical footage.
Knowledge in Kolor, MochaVR, SGO.es/MistikaVR is a plus. Knowledge of After Effects and Spherical Plugins is a plus. Strong understanding of 3d/stereo creative tradeoffs is a plus.

Field Apprentice The Apprenticeship Program offered by the Willet Hauser Architectural Glass/Associated Crafts is the most comprehensive program of its kind currently offered by a commercial art glass studio in the United States. The program is designed to offer participants hands-on experience in repair, restoration, preservation, and the creation of art glass.
