Molding Operator: this role will be responsible for:
Covering technical support as needed, including acting technician when a tech is out.
Training new molding operators
Assist with mold sets / pulls

Responsible for meeting the requirements of all internal customers of the Molding Department and complete all documentation to meet GMP and ISO requirements. Molding Operators will be required to collect SPC data. Operators must perform all required clerical work such as filing, record keeping, etc. The Molding Operator is also responsible for meeting daily production schedules, following Haemonetics' Safety instructions, and participating in Employee Involvement, Quality, and Productivity improvement programs.
Ensure components being built are always in compliance with all current, applicable documentation, [(ie. Manufacturing Instructions (MI), Bill of Materials (BOM), Standing Instructions (SI), and Standard Operating Procedures.)]
Ensure all components being built are properly labeled, including scrap, in accordance with applicable Haemonetics' SOP's.
Perform routine cleaning activities on molding machines, robotics and other production equipment and workspaces as needed.
Accurately perform start and stop procedures on the machines and robotics.
Work with various chemicals such as alcohol, resins, and water soluble solutions.
Perform inspection, and/or test of various components. Inspection method may include visual inspection, dimensional inspection, functional inspection, and memory property testing.
Ensure fixtures, standards, and equipment are in calibration at all times.
Work with the team to develop and implement improvements to the manufacturing processes that favorably impact quality and/or cost (efficiency) as needed.
Take ownership and develop a strong and confident team that understands the concept of Continuous Improvement and that takes accountability for building the highest quality product (zero defects) in an efficient manner (lower cost).
Use simple grasping, fine manipulation, and bi-manual dexterity techniques.
Continuous physical activities include bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting and lowering objects no more than 40 pounds.
Frequent pushing/pulling and reaching and lifting above shoulders is required.

Basic troubleshooting to ensure that product is running correctly.
Clean machinery out after every run and do preventative maintenance.
High School diploma and/or GED required.
Must have basic computer skills; data entry is required to track the production floor.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Client is open to machine operators who are motivated to learn new skills.
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for the entire shift.
Steel toed shoes.
