AECOM is currently seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic 3 / Electrical and Environmental in support of U.S. Air Force maintenance operations at Holloman AFB NM. This contract consists of F-16 Block 40 aircraft organizational level (O-level) assigned to the 54th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (54AMXS), 7th and 8th Aircraft Maintenance Units (AMU) contractor operation and Intermediate level (I-Level) supplementing the 54th Maintenance Squadron (54 MXS) and 49 MXS to support flying training for the 56th Fighter Wing (56 FW), 54th Fighter Group (54 FG), training mission at Holloman AFB (HAFB), NM.
The Aircraft Mechanic 3 / Electrical and Environmental, performs and supervises aircraft electrical and environmental (E & E) functions and activities. Troubleshoots, inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, overhauls, and operates aircraft E & E systems, components, and associated support equipment.

6.Interprets inspection findings and determines corrective actions. Ensures compliance with technical publications and directives.

The FE will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning at customer power generating facilities.
Provide customers with technical direction and support on GE/Alstom Boilers and associated support equipment.
Takes direction from GE Management to implement Upgrades and perform inspections on turbines and is responsible for directing lower level craft labor to perform the Upgrades/ Inspections
Signs off on all changes/Inspections performed
Complete standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements.
Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to Safety and Quality
Monitor site safety during project execution
Ensure all parts needed for the job are shipped to the site
Provide Parts numbers and quantities of additional items using GE Electronic Tools
Supply customers with proper drawings by using GE Electronic Tools
Perform walk-downs during installation/ Maintenance to ensure that the customer's contractors are working properly
Perform aftermarket upgrades that need to be performed at the site level
Bachelor Degree (Chemistry, CE, EE, ME, IE or Environmental Engineering) from an accredited college or university and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without formal degree, in power generation or technical field services industry
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory / leadership experience
Successful completion of required training programs
OEM trained on Boilers / Boiler systems
Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of Boiler Operation, Maintenance and Controls
In order to provide direction to others, this position requires technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment.
Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required with up to 100% travel
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Word, Excel) and ability to learn company and site-specific computer applications
Ability to manage and lead a Work Force
Ability to communicate and write effectively
Additional working knowledge of the below for overall understanding of operation is a plus

Environmental Control Academic Credit Intern
INTERNSHIP HAS NO BENEFITS
The interns will receive get hands-on experience in a moderate to fast pace office environment assisting the residents, business, and property owners of Baltimore City who call or come in to the agency. The interns will be trained on the City 3270 mainframe system, learn how to answer telephones and interact with the public. The interns will assist ECB staff with the preparation and breakdown of hearing dockets. Interns will be trained on screening Collections cases that are sent to the Law Department. The Executive Director and the Hearing Officers are licensed attorneys; interns will get first-hand experience working in a legal environment. They will also assist the office staff in docket preparation, break-down and all daily functions for running the agency. Screen collections cases that are forwarded to the City's Law Department and other related duties.
The Department of Human Resources review applications and select candidates for interviews.
