The CAD sculptor creates high quality 3D surface models used in the industrial design process. Responsibilities include interpreting and defining the industrial designer's intent using advanced surface modeling tools, while collaborating with the mechanical engineering teams to ensure manufacturability. Candidates must be detail driven while having the ability to quickly iterate. Although this role is designated for a 3D modeling specialist, a background in industrial design and/or mechanical engineering is beneficial in facilitating working relationships with the design and engineering teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:
An ideal candidate will have a strong passion and enthusiasm for a 3D modeling career.
Demonstrated proficiency in Alias, Rhino, or Solidworks is preferred, as is the ability to go beyond the limitations of software tools and manually manipulate or refine advanced surfaces.
Candidates will also be familiar with rendering, visualization, 2D drawing, image editing, rapid prototyping, and manufacturing software packages.
An understanding of solid modeling CAD programs is especially helpful, as selected concepts will need to be refined by our production engineering teams.
High level of problem solving or creative thinking skills.
Work closely with global engineering teams both internal and at the suppliers through product development cycles and ensure teamwork and effective communication.
BS or BA in Industrial Design or Transportation Design preferred.
Computer Graphics, 3D Animation/Modeling, Fine Arts or Engineering will be also be considered.
3-5 years relevant experience.

Concrete Mixer Truck Driver
Operate a commercial motor vehicle with a capacity of at least 26,001 GVWR, to transport and deliver ready mix concrete. Will be required to operate different aspects of the vehicle's systems to alter, mix or unload as required. May require use of automated routing equipment. Requires commercial drivers' license, Class B minimum.
Must have a CDL, Class A or B
Be able to ingress and egress truck by navigating 2 steps with grab bars present.
Be able to manipulate truck steering wheel (power steering), shifter and other various levers and knobs necessary for operation of truck and associated equipment.
Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites, as specified, in a safe and efficient manner, obeying applicable laws and following dispatch instructions.
Maintain communication with Dispatcher as necessary regarding deliveries. Check delivery tickets for special instructions and complete as required.
Frequently climb 8 foot ladder to ensure proper materials are loaded in a safe manner, and obtain proper signatures as required.
Rinse out drum and frequently handle 50 pound mixer chutes safely, and dump slurry as required by established procedures.
Collect money from customers and record transactions on customer receipt.
Inform customers of new products or services. Listen to and communicate or resolve service complaints.
Respond to customer questions & complaints related to basic product knowledge and basic concrete instruction.
Monitor various gauges during operation of vehicle, investigate abnormalities and perform operator maintenance and minor field repairs.

A Concrete Finisher is defined as a person with the skill and experience necessary to perform a variety of construction activities relating to the layout, preparation, placement, and finishing of concrete. This position is expected to perform all aspects of concrete work with minimal direction from a crew foreman.
Work relating to the layout, site preparation, placement, and finishing of concrete on a variety of military/government/commercial type construction projects.
While not inclusive, the following are some of the typical tasks expected of this position: ground preparation; setting forms to required pitch and depth; cutting/bending/setting reinforcement; spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed and float; mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straight-edge; cut out damaged areas, drill holes for reinforcing rods and place rods to repair concrete, using power saw and drill; chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools.
There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
