This career involves working outdoors and providing customer service to deliver and install concrete burial vaults and prepare them for graveside committal services. Essential Job Functions
- Closing and lowering vault after service. (In some instances, this task may include assisting the grave digger in closing the grave by shoveling dirt.)
- Prep concrete burial vaults as ordered
- Load, transport and unload burial vaults in company vehicle
- Installing vault into grave
- Assembly and disassembly of grave side tents
- Preparation for graveside service (placing folding chairs / chair covers / artificial grass)
- Keep daily reports including pre-trip and post-trip logs
- Maintain a maintenance schedule on vehicle and all equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, warehouse and shop
- Responsible for all work functions to be performed timely, correctly, and in a safe manner
- Provide a safe, clean, respectful and dignified burial presentation for the family and guests at the grave site.
- Communicate all service related exceptions and issues with the plant manager immediately.

- Check identifying numbers or seals on bags of deposits and/or change shipments against the receipts
accompanying each bag, or against the listing provided for such bags, boxes or containers.

Skills / Qualifications Required:
PERFORMANCE OF THE ABOVE FUNCTIONS REQUIRES:
- Ability to push/pull wagons, carts, buggies, dollies loaded with cargo weighing up to several hundred
- Unrestricted ability to repetitiously bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach out.
- Ability to perform repetitious lifting of items weighing an average of 50 lbs. each from floor level to
approximately 4-foot high counter top.

Responsible for maintaining security and accountability of cash, chips, coin, and other negotiable instruments in excess of several million dollars.
Provides constant flow of cash, chips, and coin to the Specialty Banks and to all cage cashiers.
Must have above average money handling skills.
Count funds and reconcile daily summaries of transactions to balance books.
Responsible for maintaining and reconciling ticket kiosks and ATM’s.
Verifies and coordinates the transfer of all receivables from Soft Count.
Monitors cash needs of the property for operating purposes in order to make recommendations to a supervisor and orders from the bank accordingly.
Process, with accuracy, customer transactions received by all medians.
Held accountable, to high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of department records and reports.
Acts as liaison to accounting by auditing and forwarding all cash-out tickets and all paperwork such as cage accountability, issue sheets, end shift reports, variance reports, W2G’s, copies of checks, etc.
Records cage variances and reports to appropriate authority.
Assists in preparation of currency/coin shipments.
Receive money from banking institution.
Provides assistance in the training and orientation of new cashiers.
Ensures a maximum level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the property is achieved and maintained.
Communicates with Cage Shift Supervisor and peers effectively concerning daily operations
Maintains an orderly and positive work environment.
Attends all company related training.

Burial Vault Delivery Driver / Installer
Key functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading burial vaults and equipment
- Delivering vault to the cemetery using a company vehicle
- Setting up the equipment and installing the vault into the the open grave
- Raising large tents if customer has requested them
- Preparing the graveside for the funeral service (placing artificial grass / chairs / chair covers)
- Sealing the vault after the funeral service and lowering it into the grave (In some instances, our drivers may help to place the dirt back into the grave.)
- Tearing down equipment, reloading the truck and returning to the warehouse
- Maintaining cleanliness of the truck and equipment

Due to this unpredictable nature, the drivers are scheduled around the services that the funeral homes call in to us. Therefore, our drivers don't have a set day off or set work hours. We guarantee our drivers one day off a week, but will not always be the same day of the week. We do have our drivers on a rotation so that they get a full weekend off every 5 weeks. Most of the time, though, days off are in the middle of the week.
- As with the work days, the work hours vary from day to day depending on what time the funeral services are scheduled. Drivers are contacted the afternoon before to let them know what time they need to report to work the next day.
All potential new hires must be able to pass a hair follicle drug test, have a clean driving and criminal record and must be able to push / pull / lift up to 75 lbs.
