Job Purpose: Provide material and components to the assembly lines throughout the day to complete runs/work orders. Perform changeovers as needed based on demands of what needs to be made for that day.
Nature of Duties:
Obtain information from "Assembly Live Production" board, Supervisor or Lead on what is running for the day or what needs to be set up next.
Walk through to ensure all lines are stocked with supplies needed for the next 2 hours unless the run is coming to an end.
Inform Boxmaker and Lead of any shortages in parts, prior to running out of components.
Remove and return all paperwork, LF stickers, product and components that are not needed for the next run.
Maintain a clean work area.
Clear warehouse racks of all empty skids, ropes, and shrink wrap and clean as needed.
Collect all chip boards throughout the day and bring to location in Warehouse.
Stay actively engaged in shift.
Assist in counting and documenting scrap on scrap sheets with Leads
Help out Assembly Lines if all above actions are complete.
Perform other tasks as directed by Supervisor.

Education and Experience:
Prefer High School or HSED graduate. Prefer 2+ year's previous operator experience or equivalent machine knowledge and skills. To power bend or hand bend a wide variety of sizes and shapes of tubes and/or perform cutting, deburring, flaring, and pressure testing of hoses and tubes.
I. The operations consist of planning and performing tube bending operations on NC tube bending equipment or manually operated tube bending equipment.
a. Requires the ability to duplicate tube patterns, plan equipment set ups, make adjustments and check parts.
II. Sets up, adjusts and operates NC tube bending equipment or any type of hand operated tube bending equipment to bend any type and size tubing up to 5/8 inches into various straight and compound angles.
III. Performs flaring, deburring, end sizing and other operations incidental to producing desired bends. Installs a variety of end fittings.
IV. Records developed measurement and angles used in obtaining desired patterns for future reference.
V. Working from blueprints, shop routers, specifications and oral and written instructions, cuts, assembles and tests a wide variety of high and low pressure hoses.
a. Measures and cuts a variety of hoses to specifications.
b. Assembles fittings to pressure hoses.
c. Cleans and pressure test hoses and tubes according to specifications.
d. Stamps identification part number on pressure hoses and installs protective seals on hoses.
VI. Uses tools and equipment such as wrenches, hose threading machines, hose tapping machines, table saws, drill motors, and pressure testing equipment.
VII. Checks all cure dates on hoses and the inside and outside diameters to determine if hoses meet requirements. Visually inspects hoses and assemble during each step of assemble to ensure Cessna standards.
VIII. Perform all rework per engineering disposition and inspection rework instructions, provides engineering and/or inspection department feedback on dispositions and rework sequence.
IX. Performs rework and repair of damaged parts to remove defects and ensure that part meets production specifications.
X. Responsible for own work and the quality of own work.
XI. Performs other related duties as required.
