Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
While performing the required maintenance and repairs that come with this job you will be regularly required to walk, stand, sit, climb, climb and balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, repetitive bending and repetitive lifting. This includes crawling under, on and around machinery to access repair locations.
You must be able to work in cold or hot, wet or dry, loud and sometimes dusty and muddy conditions.
Use of proper safety equipment to perform all of these tasks is required and will be provided to you.

The Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic is based out of our Deer Park, TX office, located at 1300 Underwood Deer Park, TX 77536.
Primary Function:The Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for the repair, recondition and service of heavy construction equipment, and vehicles, including but not limited to bucket trucks, line trucks, aerial work platforms, telescopic forklifts, hydraulic cranes, pressure drills, and civil equipment.

Minimum 5 years experience as an industrial mechanic is required. Experience working with equipment involved with high voltage substation construction is preferred.

Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a heavy duty equipment mechanic; or

Passing Score for Qualifying Written Test
The passing score for the qualifying written test will be determined by Personnel Department staff after the written test is administered.
