Contact Lens Technician/ Medical Assistant (Eye Care)
Your daily duties as a Contact Lens Technician involve a lot of patient contact, so having a warm, friendly personality and a helpful attitude is a must. You should also be good with difficult or impatient people and youths.
You will need to take photos of the eye and assist with testing. Training is provided.
You’re also on hand to guide patients on the proper care and maintenance of their lenses, as many will require thorough instructions. You provide that through a calm, step-by-step orientation, covering everything from insertion to removal to cleaning.
When you’re not interacting with patients, you may be in charge of stocking lenses, maintaining inventory, taking phone calls, administrative tasks, and filing patient records.
Training is provided.

Immediate opening for PT/FT Optometrist for a busy primary care/contact lens practice. We are a growing company looking for a well rounded optometrist to work in our 2 offices.

Manage the care of patients and ensure ocular health and visual needs are met. Educate patients and recommends lens options to correct or enhance visual needs. Examine eyes and perform various tests to diagnose, treat, manage and prevent diseases and disorders of the eye and visual system.
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids to correct or conserve vision. Examines patients with a full range of visual needs using a full field of optometry instruments and techniques These include but are not limited to retinoscopy, subjective refraction, lensometry, visual fields, mobility and pupil testing, slit lamp examination, direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy, gonioscopy, fundus contact lens, tear function testing, Amsler grid, confrontation fields, etc. Diagnoses visual diseases, disorders, and deficiencies and prescribe treatment according to the laws of the Colorado.
Consults with and refers patients to an Ophthalmologist or other health care practitioner if additional medical treatment is determined necessary.
Active Colorado OD license Able to see 18+ patients per day based on scheduled appointment requirements without compromising patient care standards .
