Lease Operator - Vertical
The Lease Operator - Vertical operates, monitors and maintains lease wells and production facilities to maximize oil and gas sales and control lease operating expenses.
Operates and inspects pumping and wellhead equipment to ensure proper operation, and recover maximum production.
Knows basic operation and proper maintenance of electrical panels, gas engines, testers, phase separators, water knock outs, heaters and stock tanks, and all other on-site wellhead equipment and compressors.
Performs routine maintenance of production equipment, including checking fluid levels of pump jacks, wellhead engines and wellhead compressors.
Detects oil, water or gas leaks, and broken seals on tank valves.
Uses proper lockout/tagout procedures.
Independently performs minor repairs of production equipment such as replacing defective valve seats, replacing elements in filters on compressor skids, minor repairs to stop leaks, etc.
Reads and records daily numbers from lease oil and gas measurement equipment.
Ensures tank thief hatches are securely closed.
Replaces gas meter batteries and pens, and updates charts accordingly.
Completes required paperwork (e.g. gauge sheets, compressor and engine logs, and preventative maintenance logs).
Enters daily production readings, well test readings and run tickets into eVIN and TOW computer systems.
Runs required reports and recognizes when well production is declining; decides how to fix, repair or adjust equipment to retain or recover lost production.
Collects, analyzes and resets malfunctions on automated wells.
Advises water haulers when water is ready for pickup and disposal.
Informs Supervisor of any unauthorized person (i.e., contractors, landowners, etc.) on leases.
Follows and supports all Pioneer HSE policies at all times; attends all required safety meetings.
Adheres to all safe operating practices established by Company, as well as EPA and OSHA regulations and policies.
Knows and uses appropriate PPE at all times.
Provides proper servicing, maintenance, and security for Company property, including assigned vehicle.
Drives Company vehicles over various types of road conditions and terrain, including highways, rural roads including paved and gravel surfaces, and off road situations including two track roads.
Installs tire chains for better traction when needed.
Collects at warehouse and carries in vehicle: solvent, grease, oils, valve seats, gloves and other materials required for regular activities.
Accurately completes timesheets, daily work sheets and logs.
Subject to call out during off-duty times.
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

This position is responsible for directing Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Band and Instrumental Jazz Ensemble, which are offered as college credit courses. This individual is responsible for recruiting students and developing relationships with area high school instrumental directors.

License and Certification Qualifications: Meets Georgia certification requirements in appropriate field of education.
Bachelor's degree in applicable field of education from a Professional Standards Commission (PSC) approved college or university required.
