General Job DescriptionWorks with another employee in putting on unpainted parts and removing painted parts from the overhead conveyor paint line. Places parts on skids in such a way as to protect paint surfaces. Large parts are loaded and unloaded by two people. Performs material handling as necessary. Works directly with another operator to load and unload large parts.

May be assigned task of training new/transferred employees as required.

2Nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic - Conveyor Mechanic
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all associated conveyor equipment. Responsibilities also include knowledge in: preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, work request documentation, spare parts procurement, and inventory control.
Minimum of four years experience in a General Maintenance

Develop a working knowledge of hydrogen fuel cells.
Maintain and repair hydrogen delivery system, including compressors and dispensers. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, conveyor and electrical components. Read, comprehend, and interpret technical reference manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical/pneumatic schematics, and ladder logic diagrams.
Overtime demands- seasonal and heavy promotional times require overtime regularly, up to and including weekends. Perform other duties as required by Supervision/Management.
Fork truck repair, snow removal, custodial duties. Construction/repair employing AC/DC arc, MIG/TIG and gas welding.
Prior to completion of each shift, ensure all shop tools are properly stored and the shop cleaned. Complete and submit daily worksheet and work orders, describing tasks/work performed. Follow appropriate guidelines in the procurement of all spare parts and tools used in the repair of existing equipment. Comply with the inventory control procedures in the reordering of spare parts when stock is at the minimum level.
Insure all blueprints, equipment manuals, and other documentation are kept current and safeguarded for the Facility Services Library. Ability to cross-train and perform to standard in various functions as required by Management.

Operators interact with guests briefly, but on an almost constant basis throughout the day, and their friendly and helpful attitude is a key part of creating the welcoming and fun atmosphere that lays the foundation for a great guest experience. The Operators are tasked with the proper and safe operation of conveyor lifts (magic carpets) located within the Ski and Snowboard School teaching areas. Operators should be prepared for working outdoors for prolonged periods and sometimes in inclement weather.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for snowsports and/or the mountain environment

Operate the conveyor lift; executing the safe, efficient, and courteous loading and unloading of passengers as required by A.N.S.I B77 regulations
Assist in ensuring lift is ready for maintenance inspection and operation
Perform snow removal from the carpets, including operating the snowblower when trained, to have the carpets ready for inspection and operation prior to lessons starting
Ensure that the safety signage and bamboo fencing around the carpets and learning areas is properly set prior to the mountain opening and maintained throughout the day

Conveyor Maintenance Superintendent
The Conveyor Maintenance Supervisor/Superintendent will be responsible for the effective operation of the conveyor system driving the Ocean State Job Lot distribution operation. The role will partner with the DC operations team to maximize the productivity and throughput of conveyable goods. The superintendent will lead sort deck operations and conveyor mechanic teams to safe productive functioning of the conveyor with optimized uptime and throughput. The role will lead the utilization of the warehouse control system (WCS) that directs the conveyor activities to effectively identify and resolve issues, monitor productivity, and define reports to guide management plans and decisions
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead team of maintenance mechanics and sort deck operators to safe, cost effective, and productive operation of the conveyor system
Define, implement, and manage a preventative maintenance (PM) program that meets or exceeds manufacturer recommendations and that cost effectively maximizes the operating up time for the conveyor
Partner with the DC operations team for PM schedules and necessary break fix work to give flexibility to continue operations to the maximum extent possible

Performs/assists with repairs to the conveyor ensuring the system is maintained in operating condition at all times. Provides information, data, and recommendations regarding conveyor operations in order to anticipate, if not eliminate, potential for problems.

Territory Manager, Light Weight Conveyor Belting, Texas
Sampla Belting is a leading manufacturer, fabricator and distributor of light weight thermoplastic conveyor belting, flat power transmission belting and related accessories. In North America, we offer complete conveyor belt fabrication services out of our locations in Buffalo, NY; Chicago, IL; Toronto, ON and Mexico City, Mexico. In addition to our manufacturing capabilities in Milan, Italy and Izmir, Turkey, we manufacture thermoplastic polyurethane extrusions and PVC coated fabrics at our 40,000 sqf factory in Buffalo, NY. In 2015 Sampla Belting joined Jason Industrial and Belt Corporation of America under the Megadyne Group umbrella. At Sampla we go to market through a network of distributors and select OEMs.
The Territory Manager is a full time outside sales position selling light weight conveyor belting and associated industrial products on a business to business level. The position is based out of Dallas – Forth Worth, Texas area and requires full time travel throughout the allocated territory (including Texas and neighboring areas). The Territory Manager services and develops existing accounts; acquires and grows new accounts; and, as a conveyor belt specialist, supports/assists/guides sister company sales representatives in adjacent territories. Sales are driven through a consultative approach and strong relationship selling. Experience in light weight conveyor belting sales is a must.

Commitment to all company policies are essential. A valid driver's license, and clean driving abstract, successful passing of a drug and background check are also required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business
Assist and support as a light weight conveyor specialist colleagues from sister company sales team servicing adjacent territories
Make telephone calls, in-person visits, deliver presentations and perform belt surveys
Make joint calls with distributors
Research for prospective customers and determine their potential
Coordinate sales with the inside sales team to generate customer quotes and order status
Analyze territory potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers
Supply management with reports on customer needs, leads, problems, competitive activities, and potential for new products
Keep up to date on product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of relevant literature and consulting with marketing and technical team
Develop and execute quarterly sales business plans
Participate in trade shows and conventions
Follow up with customers regarding their pending quotes and other opportunities
Create and analyze sales reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Any other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is preferred
Three years of outside sales experience is preferred
Must have a valid driver's license, and a good driving record
Must be authorized to work in the USA
Experience in outside sales of light weight conveyor belting is required
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks:
Promote/ sell/ secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship based and consultative selling approaches
Demonstrate products and services to existing and potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
Able to comfortably sell to distributors, select OEMs, and to visit end users in joint calls, including performing conveyor belt surveys
Strong business development and account management skills
Cold call in person and over the phone with ease
Must be highly responsive to and respectful of customer needs
Able to keep organized and multi task in a fast passed environment without constant supervision
Must be highly attentive to detail and observant in discussions with customers
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
Competency in Microsoft Office
Fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish a plus
