The Conveyor Mechanical Engineer Service will provide hands on project engineering, management for modification projects and production assistance on site, primarily related to conveyor equipment and systems. This may include combinations of conveyor mechanical and electrical equipment and their relation with paint finishing process equipment and systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Perform all tasks, and document / maintain records, in compliance with the company Business Operating System procedures
Work as a team to develop and execute service related and facility modification solutions
Interpret project specifications, drawings and schematics to develop complete system designs
Support and assist installation and production on site, also during commissioning, start-up, ramp-up and full production phases
Supervision of subcontract
Perform site verification and field checking as required
Attend customer meetings to understand project requirements
Effectively communicate and interact with engineering and estimating departments, contractors, suppliers and customers
Availability to travel when necessary and stay out of the base office during site activities where the project(s) is/are located (USA)

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment : This position requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing and ascending/descending stairs. It also requires frequent bending, climbing, movement and lifting of up to 75 pounds during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as an office environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.
