We are planning to strengthen our business in the US and are therefore looking for a Territory Manager, based in the Chicago area. In this highly entrepreneurial role you are leading the development and expansion of the US market. After an induction and training phase in Germany you will start together with a Service Manager and in close cooperation with the German sales team to build up the foundation for a successful Sales & Service team in the US. This Territory Manager will report to the Director, Sales - Hyfra Process Cooling organization.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Strengthen existing customer base.
Create and establish new strong customer relationships.
Develop business with key or named accounts and may lead dedicated account teams.
Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of products and services.
Working closely with the Sales & Service Team in Germany.
Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customer needs, product specifications and applicable regulations.
Negotiate prices, terms of sale and service agreements.
Ensure high post-sales satisfaction by facilitating positive, long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
Set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis.
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets.
Minimum of 5yrs relevant professional experience in Industrial Cooling and/or HVAC/Refrigeration
Excellent people skills and an ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

The Engine Cooling & Lubrication team is responsible for the design, reliability, and productivity of engine cooling systems for the freight locomotive market. This role is to serve as an Engineering Technical Leader for the team.
The Engineering Technical Leader leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and is a recognized expert in a specialized field. In this role you will be responsible for giving technical leadership on major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
In addition you will:
Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers for all product design aspects of the Engine Cooling and Lubrication systems.
Interface with systems engineering team to tradeoff high level cooling system concepts
Assure all component designs meet requirements
Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services, and global engineering.
Support service programs, fulfillment, and New Product Introduction (NPI)
Provide strong guidance and contribution design to cost and reliability projects

Pipe Designer 6D
The primary focus of the Piping Designer is designing piping systems, general arrangement drawings, flow diagrams and detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for our industrial paint systems and wastewater treatment systems. Designers work closely with our Lead Designers and Project Engineers to satisfy customer requirements and resolve design problems from the initial design to the final release of drawing to the shop floor.
This individual will be drawing piping systems as directed by the Project Engineers.
Designers must be able to calculate flows, loadings, dimensions and weights as determined or instructed. Individuals will be using manufacturers’ literature, selecting equipment components based on workable design, and other engineering data.
Designers will be comparing costs versus designs to determine the most cost effective way to manufacture the equipment.
Designers are required to create a BOM to be used for purchasing, fabrication and shipping.
To be successful in this role the Piping Designer will have:
- A related technical degree or equivalent years of experience
- Be extremely proficient in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks
- Experienced in designing piping systems

Clean tower basins and around tower areas
Clean tower hot water decks or spray nozzles as necessary
Change or adjust float valves
Wash tower fill and drdift eliminators
Install and adjust tower fan belts
Check for water leaks in towers
Tighten bolts if seams leak
Remove debris in tower area
Isolate cooling towers for maintenance or repairs
Check for VFD alarms, leaks, or other issues
Notifies central plant technicians if problems are discovered
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Works with limited supervision.
Knowledge of the principles of occupational safety and health practices and procedures.

Repair, fabricate, install and maintain various types of pipes, piping systems, valves, and other equipment or structures, following company and craft standards and specifications. Coordinate activities with operations and other crafts when performing various routine maintenance functions.
Calculating, measuring, laving out and drawing including rolling offsets, travel offsets for bends/elevation changes, determine points of cut on metal and angles for fitting.
Install, remove, and replace traps, vents, drains, flanged piping, high pressure & fiberglass piping, expansion joints, orifice plates and filters.
Fabricate frames, pipe stands, pots & screens, supports & hangers, bases, flanges, etc.
Repair brackets and flanges on pumps; worn, leaking, cracked, or otherwise damaged brackets & flanges and metal/non-metal piping, including underground pipe.
Select appropriate gaskets, block & control valves, tubings, valve packings, valve size & design, size, type & schedule of pipes & flanges.
Install, remove or replace valve seats, & fittings, valves on tank cars and bonnet and gate valves.
Perform rigging activity by determining weight and balance of load to be moved and route and check clearances for moving load.
Perform safety related functions such as checking venting, valving, and flushing of all lines, valves and vessels before working and examining welding unit for leaks, loose areas and damage.
Unhook pumps, valves, and other machinery for maintenance performed by other crafts.
Safety awareness, technical judgment, conscientiousness, initiative, adherence to policies and procedures, maturity and teamwork & interpersonal skills.
Calculate, measure, lave and draw.
Repair brackets and flanges on pumps.
Perform miscellaneous maintenance functions.
