The Pilot Grove Cooperative Elevator, Inc.,es, Inc., with headquarters in Pilot Grove, Missouri, is searching for a General Manager. Candidates considered for this position must have prior experience in all facets of grain merchandising and management and are responsible for this function within the organization. In addition, they must have at least five years of department or senior leader manager experience with an excellent working knowledge of crop production including chemicals and fertilizer. Individuals must also have the reputation for being personable and have the capability to build strong customer and employee relationships. It is essential that candidates are competent decision makers with a full and thorough understanding of managing the operations and financial aspects of a company. A background in cooperative management is preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 5 years’ experience working as a Location Manager, Department Manager and/or General Manager preferred;
- This position requires an individual with outstanding personal integrity and a customer service oriented disposition with the ability to build strong customer and employee relationships.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel);
- A strong commitment to the Cooperative business principals;

Pilot Grove Cooperative Elevator, Inc. is in rural central Missouri about fifteen miles southwest of Boonville. It is a successful, full-service, single location, cooperative with annual sales totally nearly 32 million dollars. They offer services in grain storage and marketing, crop production, and feed. They currently have 2.1 million bushels of grain storage and are in the process of building two new bins for operation in 2018.
